Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Family Time

Good Morning and I hope for all the weekend is going well

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

And my focus for todays post is on family time, the photos of family's of ducks.
But I think for many weekends is the chance for most to spend time with families, with school work etc. week days often get in the way, so we all need to make the most of the time we have free on weekends to make some time from other chores we may need to do around the house such as mowing the lawns tending the garden and a plethora of other things to spend some quality time with family.

Now family of course can be so many things, your parents, your siblings, your children and of course your partner.

but lets slip in a photo before I waffle on any more here's a cute family paddling across the pond in Buttonwood Park

For me, my children are grown up and around the world and for a variety of reasons I do not see them much, and my Parents Passed many years ago and my siblings are all back in NZ where I grew up.

So my first priority for focus on family is of course my sweet wife Lulu, her health after the broken and replaced Hip and Broken shoulder is not what it used to be, part of it from the injuries and part of it from the two injuries taken away her confidence and she is not keen on getting out much, so I try to get out for most of my photo walks and do photo editing in the mornings since I am an early riser and she sleeps in so that I can focus my time during the day to have quality time with her

And hence why this next photo is off what I presume is a couple

Now I said earlier weekends is often the best time for family time, for us with me being retired thats not so much the case, sure some weekends we spend time with Lulu's son and his family, but we spend more time with the grandkids on Fridays, where I pick them up from school during school days, and earlier during the holidays and they spend the afternoon and early evening with us, So fridays are the Day Lulu and I look forward to each week spending time with the grandkids :)

Its nice to have a regular role in your grandkids lives. Every Friday. You are a part of there lives in a way that holiday visits never quite replicates. Nice family photos 🙂

These pictures are awesome, I also enjoy watching ducks and their little ones whenever I see them.

Sorry to read about your wife's health issues, those issues must be really painful and hard to deal with. I can imagine it's not nice to go out anymore as I felt the same when I was in much pain years ago from falling down the stairs.

It seems you are enjoying these walks with all these nice pictures, they look great and relaxing!

Sounds like you do stay busy with the grandkids for sure just like the ducks in the picture with their little ducklings.

Since the beginning of time, the fun times have been earmarked by the weekends! Over time, things change with school, work, and lack of work. :) But, what you say is true. Friday is your big weekend and I have to agree. Whatever day works is mentally our weekend.

What a nice set of shots with nature at its best, always. No matter what Mother Nature puts out, your eye gentle-izes what it sees, giving us the best look. I like that you have different types of ducks in your pond. My pond is almost always with one duck type at a time.

I like your wood duck and family! I never see them here, although I know they are. I mostly see the Mallards. Great shots and I want to wipe off the feet of the first two. They are stepping on yuck! That is just quackers!

Love to see the little feathered families!

Last week, while canoeing, we happened upon a family of loons and i didnt have my phone! I wish i had even more now for this post as the little ones were fluttering their wings copying their parents. Moat canadian thing ever ;)

thanks yes she is struggling both physically and mentally with allt he issues she had I know she will never return to her old self but I hope with time she will get closer

These ducks are so adorable!

It's nice that you arrange your time to spend the maximum amount of it with Lulu and get your photos and editing done in the mornings.

This weekend has been all about work for me so no family time was had at all, but hopefully next weekend there will be some. I count my close friends as family too.

Look after yourselves and hope Lulu has a restful week, she's missing some lovely outings by the look of things.
