Sublime and Beautiful Sunday more light painting attempts

Some more Light painting attempts

Good Morning all, I hope your weekend is going well
its Sunday again so this post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

I guess what is sublime or beautiful to one person may not be to another, but I do find good light painting photos for me does fall squarely into both categories'

Now I will say I am not sure I would call all these shots good, but perhaps OK enough to share today

I have bene out experimenting with the light tools I bought recently and havign fun with it, but it is a learning experience but i will talk about that shortly first a photo

As you can see this one I did at Fort Taber/Fort Rodman Park here in New Bedford and this first shot with the old Fort in the background

In the first post I shared I was using a Sol Saber attachment, which is basically a clear tube 24 inches long, for this try I was using what the Ants on a Melon company calls a Lumi Saber, which has a few options the one I got was a pattern they call butterfly and this one is 12 inches long and adds a pattern to the light.

the RGB critter flashlight itself has 9 different modes the first one being plain colors that you can switch through and the other modes have various patterns and colors you can pick.
one thing i have learnt is depending on the pattern you have selected and the speed you move it can have a big impact on how the pattern comes out
this next pattern I was really happy with, well the pattern and the swirls I did, not so much with trying to make it look like there was light in the windows

a different setting and I really messed up the pattern I was going for with this one

So I tried again in the same spot and got one I was a lot happier with

And that’s all folks
