Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Out with my Macro lens again

Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Out with my Macro lens again

I had this post prepared in drafts before my wife’s fall and decided to share it today

She is still struggling with the pain has better days I won’t say good days but at least a little better but also has bad days so we’re taking it day by day

She doesn’t feel she is ready fir physical therapy yet and I do agree if I take off her sling the pain is intense without even trying to move it just the weight of her arm on the shoulder is to much for her

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

For this weeks post I am sharing a few more shots from a few recent outings with my macro 90mm Lens, I know I probably take it out with my on my photo walks more often, But the probably is I often load up my camera bag with the lens I am most likely to need when heading out in the early morning, and the 90mm lens gets left behind, and then I see something that I wish I had a macro lens with me.
But like my Big Zoom lens I use for birding the 90mm is mostly for a specific purpose and I only load it in my bag if I know that I will be out for a while when the light is better, or I am heading to a trail, but at least I take it out sometimes as these shots will show

Starting with this shot where only a portion of the plant is in focus

Often I only like images where the whole plant of flower is in focus, but there are the odd shot where only a portion is in crisp focus that I still like.

Now I know a technique to get all of the plant or subject in focus is a technique called focus stacking, but thats something I haven't tried, and not sure how well it would work since for shots like these I often do not have a tripod with me, and there is a breeze so the plants and such are constantly moving

The next shot is of a lovely plant and a bee at work

I know this is a simple wild flower, but I love the soft colors of these and find them beautiful

I do believe this is a rosehip

and a little critter doing its business

and I believe this is a large Skipper Butterfly to finish off the post

And that’s all folks

I enjoyed your macro photos. I think that wildflower is lovely too.

I love wild flowers in general.

It seems over the time I have known of you, your wife has been through several painful things that were very hard to get through. We all go through things now and then, but no one person should have to suffer so much. I am glad she has you there to help see her through. I hope she gets much better soon.

Sorry to hear she has so much pain and taking of the sling is not helping. Don’t think therapy is good when the weight of the arm is so pain full. Take care both of you. And good to take it day by day.
Best wishes @tattoodjay 🤗🤗 hope she heals good 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🍀🍀🍀 crossing fingers and sending healing vibes.

The captures are stunning. Love the wild flower. Such a great capture. It speaks… fresh and joyful. Thanks for sharing!

Oh wow, what beautiful shots, that lens is wonderful. I can see the insects in detail and I do agree that the flowers look beautiful especially the purple ones. It is truly amazing how nature works with the bees and flowers. Thank you for the update on Lulu, still praying for quick recovery of that shoulder joint, it takes time but it will happen. Wishing you both a great new week ahead :}

Awesome shots! It looks like it a really beautiful day for you when you took these. Lots of natural light. We have been under a bit of a rainy gloom lately. Might be heading your way! I've been doing some macro food shots with my phone. It's amazing how well it adapts.
