Happy Sunday everyone, I do love joining these two challenges each Sunday and as I often do I tend to focus on the beauty of nature for these posts and that's what I am going to share yet again today a few shots of the beauty and small details of nature I have seen on various walks
On a walk one day quite a while back this bit of a plant which I think was some sort of reed near a beach watch catching some nice light against the sky

Next up some fallen leaves with gorgeous warm fall/autumn colors laying on the ground, I edited these photos about a week ago when we had a cold spell for a couple of days at the time the outside temperature was -8F ( -22C) and was staying inside and warm and felt drawn to edit photos with warmer colors.

So staying with warm colors in this next photo on a walk along a trail and saw this little Shrub or tree leaning over and its nice warm reds and oranges standing out against the blues of the water

Again I am focusing on small details, instead of getting a shot of the whole tree just focusing on this one leaf, sure it is fading away and not at its prime, but still in my mind beautiful with the mix of colors and cool details

And to finish off this little red flower a rose I do believe some nice sunlight bringing out its colors, I took this using a lensbaby lens and i like how it almosT looks like the flower is floating

Reeds against the blue backdrop reveal the detail of each husk, awesome capture. Nice warm photography to bring some cheer during cold winter months.
Trust your family are doing a lot better in New Zealand after the heavy flooding through their territory.

Havent heard from them for a few days, but I think thats because they still do no have power from what I have seen online they ake get power back in two days
Will take time to build back infrastructure, hopefully electricity back up in haste, being an organized country I would imagine this will be so.
We can see beauty in everything. I find the colors and the texture very cool~ My favorite shot is by the lake.

your 'reed' is a phragmite and the shrub is a sumac, both lovely natives that dot our coast. Great #sublimesunday.

Fun set of photos. That branch with the red leaves over the water is Sumac. Its very pretty especially in the fall but it grows like crazy and is invasive. Everytime I see any in the woods around my house, I go cut it down immediately before I forget where I saw it lol
