Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Some shots of squirrels around the park

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

and for this week I am going to share some photos of squirrels I have taken while walking around buttonwood park, and hey its a nice change perhaps from all the photo of birds I have bene sharing recently, now if your enjoying the bird photos, more will come I have plenty of shots of them still to edit, but for today lets focus on squirrels

Now I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with squirrels, when I see then running around the park, I think they are pretty cute, but when they are destroying the bird feeders in my backyard, or digging up seeds and bulbs from our flower pots, its more of a hate, well hate is a strong word, let me just say I find them annoying and frustrating

This year I didn't even put out any bird feeders in our yard as I know the squirrel will take all the food and leave none for the birds and it seems what ever type of feeder I get they will destroy them.

I have even tried getting stands for the feeder that are supposedly squirrel resistant, well maybe for some squirrels they are, but the ones here it didn't slow them down much at all

But lets focus on the cute side of them in this post, Like this one giving me the eye, as it was thinking about climbing a tree

then something else caught its attention

but it went up the tree and then was looking at me, almost an evil look in its eye I think in this image

Another one wandering the field in the park

and then spotted me

and went racing away

And that’s all folks

Great shots. I totally agree about the love/hate relationship with squirrels. The look of the one in the tree is perfect. Is that a cute look, a mischievous look, or just evil 🤔

Squirrel is a very tasty and beautiful animal. Competing and trying to calm the instincts of any animal may be vulnerable and unpleasant for us at times. Great pictures

Thanks, and yes they are so interesting and fun to watch, well other than when doing damage in my backyard LOL

Likewise, enjoy the Sunday. In my side, it's almost done, already evening. I have still time to do some jogging, prepare dinner...
See you!

As rodents go, squirrels are up there with rats for me. They are super cute, but they can cause havoc in areas where you don't want them!

Ohh yes I can relate as I said in my post, they have driven me nuts in our backyard

I know ways to protect bulbs from squirrels, not no advice on the bird feeders though.

I have tried a few supposedly squirrel resistant stands and feeders but they didn't slow down the squirrels here so I gave up

It’s been a long time I saw squirrel. I remember those times in my mom’s farm, squirrel always feeds on her corn not until she made a fence round the farm to protect her precious farm😂

Nice shots:)

Wow love the third photograph from the squirrel against the tree… what a capture.
Yes, I can imagine the love/ hate vibe. They are cute to look at and observe. But if they wreck havoc in your garden… different story as you want to help the birds too. Not just feed the squirrels 🐿

Great captures @tattoodjay 😎 thanks for sharing.

In my area, squirrels are one of the animals that can interfere with coconut plants They can dig a hole in the part of the coconut so that the coconut can't be used anymore.I saw there squirrels playing in low places like on the ground But in my area we rarely see him playing on the ground, They often play on the coconut trees or other trees that they like the fruit.

I didnt know they could damage coconuts like that, they can be cute but so destructive as well

Yes, if we look at them, they are very cute and beautiful. but they really like to disturb the coconuts they can cut the coconuts so that the coconuts can no longer be used. but if we look at their shape, they are very cute and I used to take care of them when I was little.
