Sunrise by the water

I have been out for many sunrise walks by the water of recent, but am tryng not to post to many of them to often and have some variety in my subjects for posts, but its been a few days since I shared some so here goes with a few shots from a visit to a little beach and pier/rock wall by the Community Yacht club here in New Bedford

I just got back in from a sunrise walk, finally after a week of foggy mornings the fog was gone and a nice sunrise with subtle colors today, haven't got them off the camera yet so not sure what I got
Starting with this shot a 1.3 second single shot taken where the darks are more silhouettes

This next shot I had taken from the same spot but with 3 exposures, one at normal exposure, one under exposed and one over exposed, and merged them together, the idea being the under exposed shot with catch more detail and color in the bright areas, and the over exposed shot to catch some light in the darker areas, I then merge them together to get this image

This is looking the other way down the beach, its a small spot as you can probably tell but not great for getting a good amount of steps in hence why I often go to another location where I can get both photos and a good amount of steps in

And this is the other side of the rock wall, and you can see the yachts line dup, that you saw the silhouettes of their masts in the first shot.

and a shot from the other end of the little beach, there were some nice colors that morning

and I was thinking about it as I was writing this, although I say I have done a lot of sunrise walks for the last week or so, it has been real foggy and no sign of the sun rising at all, so I have taken hardly any photos this week but have got some nice walks in

I like the second photo with the 3 exposures - I take such photos with multiple exposures also often in the mornings or at sunset.
The last photo is also great - the sky is on fire, what a morning 😀

I tookk quite afew multiple exposure shots this morning finally after a week of foggy Mornings had a nice clear morning with nice subtle colors for sunrise

Oh yeah, it's a great feeling when you go somewhere for nice photos and everyday you get the same bad weather conditions without taking the expected photos, but then one day it's nice ... 😁

You pack the WOW! in when you walk into the sunrise, don't you? I really love how you combine the different exposures for a hybrid look, and cannot really be duplicated. Nice work. I am in love with the first, it has that break of day look and I love to start the day out that way.

The last is just burning up with beauty. The intensity is remarkable.

You always come up with a winner sunrise. I never, ever tire of them. I could see them every day. ;))
