The tree on the little island on the pond in the park

Now those that have followed me for a while will know than when i am in Buttonwood park and walking around the pond I just cannot resist getting shots of the little island with a tree growing on it in the middle of the pond.
And thats what this post is about, but with me trying to get shots of Birds of recent and taking my longest lens with me, I got a few closer in shots of the island and tree and thats where I will start this post with

The tree is looking healthy with plenty of new spring growth and fresh colors at the moment, and as you can see the seagulls and geese enjoy this island as well

The big lens is almost too big unless I want to zoom in and catch activity on the Island, which I haven't got any great shots of to share zoomed right in, from most points only at the low end of the lens at 200MM can you get the whole tree in shot

On my most recent visit to the pond just the other day, there was a light mist floating over parts of the pond, sort of a smoke on the water feel to it, I switched to my 28-75 lens to get a shot of it, which is this next shot, you may have to squint to see the mist over the pond, as I said it was very light and I didn't really capture it so well

Even though the plant grows on a small island but looks very fertile, I also saw a duck swimming there, an amazing catch. I really like the shape of the cloud in your last photo, because here I have never seen it directly

The tree is like a single player who is the center of attention. Your shot truly represents everyone's eyes on it.

The great advantage of having a large lens rests entirely on your finger and you do well by bringing the beauty of new shoots and leaves closer to see. Never forget to take your big lens with you wherever you go.
You will have a lot of surprises for us all.

I love that

I dont take the big lens everywhere, its very heavy, so if going for a longer walk I often leave it in the car, but on shorter walks where I hope I may see birds I take it with me

Little Willow Tree has it's fresh leaving out looking much warmer once again, mist on water always difficult to attain if light mist or lighting a little high.

The mist might have been elusive but the reflections are gorgeous 😍 And I really love that new green spring color in the willow. Nice photos today 👍

I still would love to have a little house for me on this little island and I would share it with the geese and the seagulls, of course 😊
It's so lovely and now with the fresh green leaves it looks really inviting to me 🌞

I kind of like that this island seems untouched by man, not saying I wouldnt want a little house on an island but perhaps a slightly not so little island LOL

Yep, compared to the size of the geese this island seems really a little bit too small for a house, but it was a nice dream 😂 !LOLZ

It's a very beautiful place and when I saw a tree on the small island it was very beautiful, and it seemed that the tree was very fertile.

It is a sweet Island, I have never seen a boat or canoe on this pond, and kind of like the though the island is untouched by man
