Tis the season
When I post this it will only be two days till Christmas and that's a good time to share some shots of the Christmas decorations I have seen on a walk downtown recently.
But before I do for anyone who see's this post I should take a moment to wish for all those who Celebrate Christmas a Very Merry Christmas, and for those who do not celebrate Christmas Seasons greetings
Starting with this shot of a Christmas tree just across from the port, it had been raining up until about 10 minutes before I took this shot so a nice glow reflected of the wet sidewalk and cobblestones

Now I headed out that morning when I saw the rain had stopped and it was very mild for this time of year I think it was 57F compared to recent days that was to nice not to get out for a walk, I headed down tot he port as I hadn't been there for a while and it was quite grey and overcast so I thought I good spot for a walk, but as I got out of the car I saw this little boat, I think it is a refueling vessel of some sort with the reef and Christmas lights, which I had to get a shot of to share

And then since it was grey and dreary, I saw the Christmas across the road and decided to take a quick stroll around downtown and see what decorations I could find which lead to this post
I came across these trees in a little park

and in the historic downtown area all the street lamps were decorated with lights

Wow, that is a very uniform Christmas tree at the beginning there! My wife and I went out the other night and drove through the small town that we live in. I didn't realize just how many lights they put out. It was pretty beautiful. Sometimes the small towns can do it up just as good as the big cities! Awesome shots as always. Have a Merry Christmas!

These are nice Christmas decorations, not so overdone like other cities do. Here some streets are full of lights, too much in my eyes.
I have seen this Christmas tree design before - I think either my town has yours or New Bedford has seen our tree, but our tree swims 😁

It seems that the weather when you took these photos was quite similar to what we currently have.

You've got some pretty idyllic locations for Christmas lights. They really glisten and stand out in the night.
Yeah I am lucky, its not the same as NYC but I prefer these actually NYC was fun to see but so crowded and over the top with the decorations
