Early morning at the port
Good Morning, I hope your week has started well.
Today I will share a few shots from an early morning walk at the port, where I was lucky enough to catch a lovely sunrise recently, I have visited there a few times of recent for a couple of reasons, with the sun rising pretty early, if I sleep in a little and want to catch the sunrise i need to go somewhere close, and secondly, I do enjoy getting photos of the ships there, it is by volume the busiest port of the country and thus very important tot he city.
Plus, to be honest, on Facebook I find shots at the port at sunrise are some of my most popular photos
And it's a bonus when I catch the fishing boats with a lovely sunrise behind them

Looking at that first photo, at the time I edited it, I wanted to brighten the boats, but I think I may have overdone it, particularly the one in the middle.
And those who have followed me a while will know I do love capturing reflections and the port is a great spot for that, whether almost mirror-like if there is no breeze, to ripply and funky ones other days

I have been thinking what is my fascination with getting photos of the boats at the port, when I have no interest in ever owning one, and have hardly been on any other than ferries in my life, and I think in part its that I find all the masts on commercial boats catch my eye

Wow, what a beautiful view of this harbor. And you're so lucky you managed to capture some truly beautiful photos while strolling around. The sight of the ships docked in the harbor is truly captivating, and the sunrise is truly breathtaking.
