Tuesday Early morning visits to the Port of New Bedford

Early morning visits to the Port of New Bedford

Good morning, and have a great day

Today I will share a few shots from a recent visit to the port before and during sunrise.

I know I often take shots from similar viewpoints, with the different clouds and colors, it's always different, but that said, I am also looking for different views or angles I may not have taken or shared before.

And this first shot is such a view, looking over the tables at the clam bar, which is at the port.

The funny thing is, I have walked by this so many times, as where I park is right next door to it, but so often times I just walk on by it as I head off for a walk around the port or across the road into the historic district.

So why was this day different? Well, perhaps fate lead me to it, or just dumb luck. As I was walking away from my car, getting my camera ready, I was taking off my lens cap and dropped it, and this one time it didn't just drop to the ground right by me but decided to have an adventure and rolled right into this area :)

Now this view I enjoy and take many photos of, but not only are the colors and clouds different each day, the boats also docked or berthed here aren't always the same.

Now this little boat in the foreground does harbor tours, both daylight and sunset tours, the prices aren't to bad, the sunset one is $35 and lasts an hour and a half, I would be tempted to do one sometime, but no way would I ever get my wife on and going out on such a little boat, and if she knew I was out on it she would stress the whole time.

And more boats to finish off the post

And that’s all folks

Beautiful shots! It reminds me of the area my wife and I just spent some time in. I just wish I had taken more photos!
