Walking around the Cisco Breweries Restaurant one morning
I often park at the spot by the Hurricane Barrier walk, and often share photos of the pier and from on he Harbor walk, but when I go to this spot I often do a loop or two around the Cisco Breweries Restaurant and bar, well I should say Bars, they have a few there, outside, on a top deck and inside, and I sometimes snap photos while doing this loop.
Other times not as it is after the sun has risen and just focusing back then on getting my step count up to the 10K I was trying to do each morning before starting the day.
I look forward to when I get back into getting that kind of step count back into my routine, not getting out much at the moment most days I m lucky if I get even close to 4K, but ohh well it is what it is nd I am waffling away as I tend to do, onto this post and the photos
As I said I take a loop around the restaurant which is right by the water, from the car park I walk this way, as you can see from the colors this is one time I did the loop as the sun was rising

Heading along this pathway, I love the mornings after it has rained when there is a nice glow of color on the walkway

and then around by this little pier, that ramp you see was new this year, it goes to that platform and the restaurant has a boat, that goes pick people up from their boats anchored on the water so they can walk up this ramp and hear to the restaurant

Further around looking back at the pier, early morning it is so peaceful walking there when the place is closed, not so much when its open, its not far from where our grand daughter goes to school, on the days I pick her up I often park early and walk down around here while I am waiting and even on a weekday the restaurant is busy on a nice day with many sitting in the out door area and its not so quiet and peaceful

But the reward is well worth it. Your photos of the sunrise are so beautiful.
For me it's not hard I have always been an early riser
But with my wives health problems I haven't been out for a sunrise walk for 6 weeks now I do miss them

The pics are beautiful.You really know how to capture the effect.Sunrise on the water is so picturesque.I imagine hearing the seagulls in the background or water lapping up against the docks and shoreline.I always wanted to live near the water .Maybe in my next life.

I really like the boat at the pier picture. I've always thought it would be cool to pull up on a boat at a restaurant 😎 When we lived in California, there was a place we went to in Oakland that always had boats moored outside while the people were inside eating.
Even though I am not a big boat person, I did think the sae thing, how cool would it be to pull up and lay anchor and head into the restaurant
Some days those 10,000 steps can be so elusive. Beautiful long exposure shots! I hope your wife's shoulder is healing well.
OHH yeah for sure, for many years I got 10K in almost every day, feeling my age nowadays LOL

With winter approaching i normally get out on less walks anyway and the last couple of mornings have been close to freezing point so I dont feel so bad not getting out early right now LOL

Oh, yes… of course the lower temperatures. For me still not happening. Here it is 24 degrees Celsius during day and it goes to 12 degrees Celsius at night. So, I do not complain.
So I get lower temperatures too…
But understandable that you go out less than.
