Miss Grand Sabah 2019 Meldequeen - Portraiture for campaign. (5 photos)

Hello and greetings everyone in the black and white community, its been a while since my last post in here. Working life become so much busy during this coming festive season here. Soon the school holiday will start and it will be more busy with all the events starting with the school holidays. I am excited for all the events going on and will be sharing them here on the community.
SO today I will share a black and white series of Meldequeen. She was the Miss Grand Sabah 2019 winner. This portraiture was taken for her to promote Miss Grand Sabah 2024 this coming July 2024. A new national director was appointed and he wanted to bring all the previous winner to come for the event that he will be organizing. So there will be a lineup of the previous Queens in the events.

This dress was designed by a local and a very experienced designer here in Kota Kinabalu. His name is Bruno. A former Male pageant winner and a well know designer for pageants events.

Congratulations for the third prize, well deserved!
Everything seems perfect to me, the lighting, the composition (in almost all the shots), the exposure and an exquisite b&w processing. There is only one thing I don't like at all, the softening of the skin. In fact and to be honest I find it ugly and unnatural.
