Hello everyone in the Photography Lover Community, How are you guys? I hope you guys had an awesome day.

Today I want to share another series of studio portraiture. But this portraiture is a little bit different. It is a cosplay by one of my cosplayer friend named Fanny. She is a very talented cosplayer and she is also a very talented prop designer. The weapon and the wardrobe was made by her alone. While cosplaying is her hobby, she works as a music teacher. I heard her play the piano once and she is really good.

She is actually a very talkative person, but in front of a stranger she is very quiet and serious all the time. She was like putting some magnetic shield barrier around her so people may not simply talk to her or goes near.

The lighting setup that being used on this photoshoot session was, one main lighting was put 45 degree on the right side of me while shooting. This main light was slightly tilted down to get some dramatic shadow on the face. The second lighting was on the left side of me as a rim lighting. The third light was the speedlight that being put on a red gel as a back lighting.

At first it was really hard to adjust the lighting that being used. The red light simply leaks through the front from the back and made some weird highlight on the face. But after a few adjustment, I made it work.

Hello semua dalam Komuniti Photography Lover, Apa khabar semua? Saya berharap anda semua mempunyai hari yang mengagumkan.

Hari ini saya ingin berkongsi satu lagi siri potret studio. Tetapi potret ini ada sedikit berbeza. Ia adalah cosplay oleh salah seorang rakan cosplayer saya bernama Fanny. Dia seorang cosplayer yang sangat berbakat dan dia juga seorang pereka prop yang sangat berbakat. Senjata dan pakaian itu dibuat olehnya seorang. Walaupun cosplay adalah hobinya, dia bekerja sebagai seorang guru muzik. Saya pernah mendengar dia bermain piano sekali dan dia memang dapat bermain piano dengan sangat baik.

Dia sebenarnya seorang yang suka bercerita, tetapi di hadapan orang yang tidak dikenali dia sangat pendiam dan serius sepanjang masa. Dia seperti meletakkan beberapa penghalang perisai magnet di sekelilingnya supaya orang ramai tidak boleh bercakap dengannya atau mendekatinya.

Persediaan pencahayaan yang digunakan pada sesi pemotretan ini ialah, satu pencahayaan utama diletakkan 45 darjah di sebelah kanan saya semasa mengambil gambar. Lampu utama ini dicondongkan sedikit ke bawah untuk mendapatkan sedikit bayang dramatik pada muka. Pencahayaan kedua berada di sebelah kiri saya sebagai lampu rim. Lampu ketiga ialah "speedlight" yang diletakkan gel merah sebagai lampu belakang.

Pada mulanya memang sukar untuk melaraskan pencahayaan yang digunakan. Lampu merah hanya bocor melalui bahagian depan dari belakang dan membuat beberapa sorotan pelik pada muka. Tetapi selepas beberapa pelarasan, saya berjaya juga akhirnya.
