A studio portraiture of Daphne.
Hello everyone in the community. I hope you guys are doing great today. Today I want to share one of my recent studio photoshoot with a client for her Valentine's day theme photoshoot. This is Daphne, she is a model and a student. She does photoshoot modeling and runway model on her free time during the weekend.
This studio photoshoot was done by using a simple two lighting setup. Both of the lighting was the Godox 400W mounted with a 60cm by 90cm rectangle soft box. Both of this light was placed in front of the white background ( white wall ), placed both on the left side and right side and it was angle inwards to the center around 30 degree and 45 degree from its position. This photo was her first attire during the photo session.
She did all the pose by herself. At the begining she requested for a 'cute' photoshoot and I asked her just do her free pose with a smile, and overall the result of the photo was she nailed it . It wa a fun photo session with her. She never complained during the photoshoot session. We had a problem at first which was the make up artist that we called had cancel on us. We had to find another make up artist for the shoot. Luckily one make up artist was free and available during the time. We had delayed the photoshoot session for 3 hours because of the incident.
But all of the incident happen, I was very pleased with the result. It did not made me feel any disappointment but rather I focus on the end result of the photo.

That 85 mm and mounted on a Sony A7III is the ultimate 😍!!!! I loved the naturalness of the photos. The clarity of the environment and her outfit really works for me. It gives a sense of tenderness and cleanness of spirit, which, together with the eternal smile of the model, is very clean and coherent.⚪️
Those inconveniences that sometimes happen to us in the sessions can turn everything upside down, luckily you knew how to solve it and make these very good shots. 🤗
Thank you so much for visiting and for the thorough comment my friend xD It is my go to gear for any portrait that I do. Except for tighter area then I had to choose another shorter focal length lens. But still if possible I will always use this 85mm to take a shoot even for wide shoot 🤣🤣
