Well Hello There Weekend Adventurers!

Weekends Are For Adventures!

Well this weekend, now this weekend was both so GREAT and so DISAPPOINTING all at once!

At the very least we enjoyed it to the fullest!

We had a lot going on this weekend and yet it feels like it went past me without me even noticing it! I am tired and I didn't rest much this weekend! But then again I can't complain because the holiday seasons are ahead of us and the more tired I am by the time it arrives the more I will enjoy the vacation!

I didn't do most of the things that I wanted to do this weekend but for that I have the perfect excuse! Friday it was the father in law's birthday, Sunday it was the mother in law's birthday (Correction, soon to be.😂) and well yesterday was The Betty's birthday! Okay yeah I know that happened during the week but still everything was so jam packed and tight xD

Both The Fun And The Confusion!

Okay before I jump into this, it wasn't really all that confusing I think for the most part we didn't know what to do, so confusion? Meh I don't know!

We had a live show on Friday night and of a singer that I really REALLY wanted to see! Now that didn't go as we expected it to! It was fun for the most part and at-least I did share that wasted time with someone valuable to me! So it's more of a win win!

What ruined the night?

I really don't want to use the word ruin or spoil at all though! But what happened was THE RAIN! The rain came and it was just a little too unpleasant to stay for the show. The problem was that the live show was held at the stadium and it doesn't have a roof that closes so everything was pretty much exposed!

We did try to bite back on the rain but it started drizzling harder and harder so we decided to up end the night!

I'm glad I went though, I had the best ice milkshake I have ever drank in my life!

Oh but the night was far from over!

I'd hardly let one little mishap get the best of our entire night! Both me and The Betty was hangry and this point! I mean both of us rushed home and rushed to get done with everything to be on time for the show.

Well okay I do agree with all of you that is thinking of telling me McDonald's isn't real food! Well yeah this I know! But that doesn't make it any less delicious does it?

The place is revamped and the moment we stepped inside we just looked at each other in disappointment! It looked nice and all that but the place felt queer? As if I didn't want to be in there, almost as if I felt unwelcome!
To top it off they placed the computer ordering station right infront of the entrance! I MEAN RIGHT INFRONT OF IT! If I come in and someone is busy ordering there I'd have to ask them to move!

The food was still great though!

Missing The Rain Of The Yesterday!

The day after that! Saturday, well that wasn't a pleasant day at all!

We didn't do much in terms of fun, the previous night at the live show my uncle phoned me and asked me if I'd be willing to help remove a Ford Ranger transmission. Now since I am in the business of transmissions how can I say no? See the problem is I don't mind helping but I dread to do the work I do daily! This is an example (I know the carrot has nothing to do with this, we shall get to the carrot later!) so ever since I started working on transmissions the whole family seems to be getting transmission problems.

How does that work? The Old Pops got a clutch failure over the weekend so there we go again with another transmission removal! Insane in the membrane!

Okay, the carrot! Well while I was busy with the rubber mats in my car baking in the sun! The Betty did some vegetable chopping or should I rather say playing!
She found one with a big grandpa nose and well she carved out two eyes for it and stuck some peas in them!

I wonder if we ate Frank? Or what was his name @misshugo??

The Get Together!

Now if I have to be honest I am not a fan of these!

Really I don't know why, I'm not fond of doing the family get together type of stuff! Although this was fun, mainly because I was able to stuff myself with some lasagne! Oh how I missed those!

Well not much to say here except for fine dining!

We really celebrated a lot of birthdays today! All those Valentine's Day babies right guys! 🤣

The Invited-Uninvited Guests!

Well to sign this one off! I went on a extermination spree with the spiders here on the farm! Frikkin ugly stuff!

Okay before you bash me I left the spider making his house in the bush alone! Nah I won't kill those who don't bother. But we had a few right on the porch by the front door and they had some thick bodies on them! No not the good looking kind! The scary looking booties that are filled with little spiders!

Look I am the biggest scared ass for a spider! So for me not to kill them says a lot! It's a funny thing actually. Since I moved to the farm the fear for spiders has lessen, still don't want to get bit by one but I wont jump up and scream like a toddler anymore!

I thought I'd add this nice sunset to round off the post and end it on a good note! Having a spider in the last picture? Well that isn't a good idea at all!
