Free The Wild Hearts Wednesday Walk

Well Hello There Fellow Hivers!

It's Wednesday! and I've got some pretty cool things to share on this Wednesday!

Well at-least I'm super stoked about it, I don't think I've ever gotten such great luck behind the camera! As they say there's a first for everything!

As always the walk is on the farm. A more beautiful place to witness sunsets I am yet to find! I've said this before but the layout of the terrain probably adds a whole lot to the deal.

Anyways!

I came home one afternoon (Not on a Wednesday if I can be honest here.) but I came home and the sun was at my back so I didn't really notice anything at all, just a usual stroll back to where I stay. BUT when I got to the motor gate I had to turn slightly to open the lock and I was blown away by the most beautiful of sunsets.

They have a thing that they call it, I'm not sure what but it was so round and beautiful and I could stare at it without having my eyes gulged out.😅

Needless to say I ran into the house grabbed the camera (Hoping with everything in me that I charged it the last time I used it, I did though) raced back outside with nothing just the camera I even left the house open. I spared no time running into the fields like a lunatic!

I saw the perfect picture between the trees and I just had to take it! I wanted to get one where the sun was falling in behind a dried out bush, that usually makes for cool photos!

There I was trying to get that perfect shot, notice the horses? Well they were kind of buggering me a lot at first then I decided to just ignore them as they might add value into the photo.

As I was taking pictures I ran to the one side and the other trying, hoping on a good one.

Time was of the essence as the sun was setting faster than I realized! Why do these beautiful events always feel as if they go by so fast?

DSC_0268.JPG

There I was thinking that I missed my opportunity, cursing myself for strolling back home so unaware of what beauty is spilling all around me.

The first thought that came to mind was that the clouds are not going to let that sun shine again and as I said it was setting fast! Real fast!

Little did I know that the best part was yet to come! Now I could have given up and gone home but I decided to then watch the last bit of beauty fade over the horizon, besides I didn't need to be in a rush to get home I am basically home!

Bide your time! Good things comes to those who wait!

DSC_0271.JPG

And there it was!

The sighting I was waiting for this whole time! And think about what I said earlier... I didn't like the fact that the horses were interrupting my photography session and well it turns out they added the most value to it.

It could have been done a little bit better, but they are horses they wont listen to a damn thing I say at all. 😅

I stood around hoping that the one horse would stand a little more upright... But then again I think it looks pretty dope.. It's almost as if he is peeking to see what the hell I want coming so close to them.

DSC_0283.JPG

I took a photo that was fixated on the horses and then I took one that was somewhat fixated on the sun and both came out pretty decent to say the least, well since that day I have not yet seen another sun set as this one. I've seen some pretty beautiful ones but I wont mind being a little more prepared for the next that might appear over the horizon.

Once again, good things comes to those who wait!

A Little Bonus Story

Now none might understand this but if we didn't have these two horses on the farm I'd have never been able to take a photo with quite this viewing... Given I might have gotten a bunch of photos of the sun and the environment.

The thing is these two horses are almost like one... And I think I've written a post about it a few years back as well, I'll try my best to find it after I posted this one and edit the text a bit.

Anyways.

The one is black and the other one a light brown more chestnut or something but let's say they are black and brown, now the most amazing thing is that they both have white stripes over their nose stretching from top to bottom AND yes that's not all... They have white feet as well, almost as if they are wearing long white socks BUT one of their legs is full colour, meaning it's not white AND both of them have that full colour on the same leg!

How cool is that?

On top of that they are always and I mean ALWAYS together no matter what! I have no clue as to how the history of these horses are but I know they raced together many moons ago. That's why I say if not for these two horses I'd have never gotten these amazing pictures!

A Few More Photos As Another Bonus

Nothing special just thought it might be nice to add all the photos I took on that day, but the original post has most of what I liked.

So have fun scrolling through, I mean its all horses and sunsets. 😎 Might add a bit of relaxation to your life.

😂😂😂 The farm, the horses... They were all just dumbluck.. The Grandpa inherited some ground and he got the horses with them. Turns out they were race horses.

I wish you could see these beasts run, like 14 of them all at once racing across the farm... The sound... The view... The dust being kicked up... It's something different, to say the least.

I'm a little afraid of horses.) But the sunset photos are gorgeous... Especially where the sun illuminates the tops of the trees.🙂

Once I saw a sunset in the steppe, it was a beautiful sight

I see that this post contains at least 6 horsepower, by my count, being the most horses I saw in a single image.

Laughs what a way to think about it.

You might find this interesting.

Power of a horse.

Although it may seem safe to assume that one horsepower is the output a horse is capable of creating at any one time, that is incorrect. In fact, the maximum output of a horse can be up to 15 horsepower, and the maximum output of a human is a bit more than a single horsepower.

Funny though I'd have thought horses would be in an abundance over in Australia? That is where you are right?

There are wild horses out there, but they're nowhere near I live. The wild creatures we tend to see run rampant are camels. We actually have an entire industry that captures camels for meat and ships them off to the Middle East, because we have SO MANY FREAKIN CAMELS.

I've not seen any in the "wild" though.

There's also kangaroos, as well, but they're a different beast all together.

Such a beautiful sunset, and the horses really add to it without a doubt

Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk, Sorry last week was a bit rough for me and I not only did not get out for any walks, but also was not able to visit all the walks from last week, but feeling better this week and visiting posts again which is always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks

Hahah, I passed by a yard last week, and there were ponies. They didn't want to listen to me hahhaha, just one stayed close and allowed me to pet his muzzle 😇

Btw, that photo, with one horse just peeking at the camera is awesome!
