Gaining Unexpected Allies Against The Chaotic Blackstone Legions

Whatsup everyone! In the last episode of For Honor I fought my way into one of Appolion's castle's on the very edge of her kingdom. Whilist doing so we found a lot of dead knights scattered around woods and fields and finding out why this is so was of utmost importance. In war information is the decisive winner and the more you have the more you tend to win.

We then saw some of Warden's men running from the castle into the woods and decided to tail them down to their fortress where we realized that he is making some sort of an resistance or break away force from Appolion. This in turn meant that joining sides was to be the best possible path forward but not knowing how the Warden and his men felt about that it was best to try and stay hidden for as long as possible but as always staying in sticky situations increases the chance of being seen and that was exactly what has happened.

Mimijo_ urged us to leave but I had not listened and wanted to stick around and now the only way to escape is by force and battle. With Mimijo being struck by an arrow in the leg this would prove ever more difficult to achieve. But as a Samurai sitting and waiting for death is never an option.

And without needing to even mention the fact that the fighting down was brutal and hard since the opponents were very experienced in the art of wars, they have certainly been in more than one conquest and have seen so much more than I realized, remember the Knights have been at war far longer than we ourselves have been.

Standing on one point try to kill as many as possible was not the option, we had to run and keep them of us, they just kept coming and coming.

After reaching the bridge and securing Mimijo's escape I was caught off guard by Warden and got struck with a hammer blow and got knocked out.

Waking up with the larger part of Warden's army surrounding me and Warden standing over me assuring me that they are not the true enemy. But I would not have it, they murdered the imperial family, how can I just let this by idly?

Warden even returned my own sword to me, this was my opportunity to strike, he is a man with honor and wont let his men fight his battle's for him! A Knight is more a fool than anything else. Honor is their only guidance.

Without any notice I struck my blade against his and there was no going back now, this would lead to a fight till the end. Until one of our swords lay desolate in the ground this would not end, not easily to say the least.

How can I as a Samurai let them go for the offenses they have committed against the empire?

After one of the hardest battles I have ever fought I managed to beat Warden to the ground and in that moment I realized that the men following this man had the same honor as he himself. They knew it was a fair fight and that they might lose the leader leading them. It is utterly clear that they are not caught in Appolion's web of lies anymore.

This would prove to be a major turning point as we have a valid and secured route into the lands of Appolion now. With Warden by our side what could possibly stop us.

Warden assured me that I would find the road to Appolion clear and without any resistance.

It would seem that the wolf has been playing with the sheep too long and has lost its own teeth.
