Getting It Back On The Streets!

Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!

A Fitment It Is!

Damn guys! It has been quite sometime since I've last done a fitment... at-least back at work. I'm not referring to my own personal jobs!

Remember that Toyota transmission we assembled earlier this week? Well yeah I have to fit that puppy back in!
The last techie we had also took his stuff and left, it's better that way. Let the rubbish work themselves out!

Heck I don't mean for this to turn into a rant but damn people don't have backbones anymore! We can literally not find someone that is willing to work!

Okay back to work! There she is!

For Smooth Driving Pleasure!

Well yeah these police bloaks really know how to mess up a clutch system!

Heck you should have seen how the driveshaft ripped out the transfer case on this one, it almost smashed out the fuel tank as well!
I should have gotten photos of it but the idea like literally just occurred to me as I wrote this up!

They must have been gunning a hell of a speed for the damage to look like that! Oh the exhaust system also took a big smacking!

Laughs!

She Is A Chunker!

I can't say I am fond of these at all, like it's fun doing something different for a change but damn if I had to fit these on a daily basis I'd be somewhat grumpy! Laughs!

You have to turn it sideways once it's halfway over the clutch and AAAHHHHHHH!! It's just a hassle. Not a hard job but sort of an irritating and tedious thing!

Fortunately my old man gave me a hand and that is all I need!

Finished Up Properly!

After the transmission was joined to the motor we still had a great deal of things left to do! Namely the transfer case that had to be joined.. along with the driveshafts and well all the cross members holding everything in place!

Once we got it started up it threw out some heavy errors with the High range and Low range, basically the 4x4 system and it did not look that good at all!
Well that was until I realized I never plugged in the harness of the transfer case, so naturally it would give errors!

Well glad that got sorted fast! I gave Bossman some fright though!

Until the next tear down or build up! Stay safe and most of all stay Blessed!
