Left In The Icey Cold!
Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!
To The Ice Cold Depths!
Now this is something we've not tried before!
Usually we use heat but cold probably has the same effect it just takes a great deal more time!
Well! We aren't crazy if that is what you're thinking! We are pioneers in our fields!
How did we freeze this pump and forward clutches? Well we chucked them into the freezer my people! It slept there overnight!
Why?
Well we got some new seals that goes over the shaft and well if you push it over the shaft it stretches a little bit, which does confuse me a little because they aren't suppose to stretch!
BUT!
So we decided to see what happens when we push over the shaft and throw it in the freezer, hoping that they would shrink!
The thing is if the pump pushes over them they should be fine but we took the extra step in getting them ice cold so that they can shrink.
It's Not Luck! It's Skill!
All appears to be a okay!
They shrunk but they still have some sealing space left! Besides once they are in place the heat will expand them till where they need to be and then we shall know if they really work as they should!
Unfortunately we have to assemble the entire vehicle for that, but I told Bossman I am willing to take such a chance, it's less than two hours to pull it out again!
No biggy, but for now it appears to be fine!

I don't blame him at all! You get what you're owed right! Everything makes its way back eventually! And besides why charge someone for a 10 dollar seal if they spent more than 2k already!
Growth I would assume but it's by gones!
This transfer case seal had a minor leak, we could have just top it up and let it be! But we thought we might as well do it since the transmission is removed.
We wont even mention this to the client! Laughs!

There is a very valid reason for why this seal failed in the first place!
Them farms! Them off road driving! Them trailing through mud! Why? Because the pickups can do it!
Well a new seal it is! And perhaps a little top up on the transfer case oil and she is good to go!
It Felt Weird!
So I ordered a new car license on my banking app!
Yeah I done did that! Pretty damned cool!
See in my country where everything is failing the private institutions have to take over other wise absolutely nothing will get done in this damned place!
Besides that it is actually very convenient!
