Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!

In the last episode of Surviving In Rustopia I did some running around to get everything prepped up and ready for the adventures to come! Well that certainly paid off on its own! I managed to score a Red, Blue and Green card in the run I planned out in advance, I did however notice that planning these runs out makes it so much more efficient.

Now since the last episode I've added some hours so not everything may be as it seems, I did run some monuments and did use up some of the cards that I had so I will have to go do another run just for cards.

With that said I did manage to run Launch Site today and it was beyond profitable!

The Early Bird Catches The Worm.

Okay well that's not exactly true in my case though, when I logged on it was already past 9 in the morning in game time so I had to move!

But before I could do that I noticed that I was still crafting some heavy stuff, I had to cancel that first to risk not losing all of those valuable resources.

I Promised You Launch And I'm Giving You Launch!

Now this would be my third attempt running Launch Site since my last play at it almost two years ago. The first two attempts were both failures and this one was almost a failure too! Almost!

It's gotten a lot harder to run, back in the day this was likely the easiest monument to run for such high gear loot and the only obstacle was Bradley Tank patrolling outside but the high tier loot has always been inside the big building. So that was never a problem once you got past him.

Here's the reason why it got harder!

So the reason why they buffed this monument must be because it gave high tier loot for how easy it was to run. Now they didn't have to do much to make it harder at all, what they did was put a few scientists inside the main building and on the rooftop and they buffed the damage that the radiation gave you inside the building. Those two combined really makes your health tick of faster.

I don't even want to begin to think how hard it must be to PVP inside this monument! You'd nee a lot of meds and damn I brought a lot of meds!

But there was one thing and it was that CocuNut Killer was not about to fail for a third time! No, I was determined to make it through and out of there alive!

I did though but barely!

Still Licking Wounds But Luck Kept On Coming!

I was still recovering from my wounds and radiation damage when I just so happen to stumble across this decaying base close to Airfield.

I didn't think I would find much in it but I did! 3k Sulfur and that's not bad for not even breaking any walls!

A score upon a score, I never broke the TC though and I'd have never came across it if I didn't plan on going to Airfield!

The Airfield Was Abandoned!

To my surprise there wasn't a single soul anywhere close to Airfield and I managed to activate the crate. That's something I don't like that much though is waiting for the crate, once activated you have to wait 15 minutes for the timer to tick down. A great idea when trying to attract pvp but early morning hours is a little slow for most players.

But after running a succesfull Launch Site and having the chance to claim this crate as well. If I can make it out of here alive it would certainly be one very good run! Well worth the time it took!

Now while I waited I decided to kill some of that time a little faster bu running through the Airfield claiming crates and recycling some stuff to stack better.

That even added more worth to the run! I got a lot of High Quality Metal from this run and I am planning on using it!

I decided to hide away in the tower for the remainder of the time, the reason for this was to see if or when a player might come try and contest for the crate, I was hoping on it but no one showed.

Leaving Valuables Behind?

I don't like leaving anything behind, especially not if it's High Quality Metal!

While I was busy running Airfield and waiting for the crate there was a couple of players who took Bradley Tank but after they did I asked if they mined the tank itself and they said no.

So, I wasn't planning on letting that good metal go to waste! I was going to suck it up, it was on my route back after all!

The Run I Did!

I thought it might have been a cool idea to add the route that I ran while doing this monument run!

You'll see a red dot at the top of the map where I started with a red line leading away down the map. The red line is the run towards the monuments and the blue line is the run back to Launch Site from Airfield and the from Launch Site back to base.

The best run I've had in a long time!
