The Best Are Mostly Missed

Well Hello There Fellow Photographers And Hivers!

I feel both lucky and unlucky at the same time.

While driving home one afternoon after work I saw one of the most beautifull sunsets in a long time. Everything was just perfect, the clouds, the sun and the glaze of everything combined. It felt like some unrealistic moment.

The unlucky part was that I really wanted to capture these photos with the camera and not on mobile but I would have never made it all the way and back to get the photos. Why is it that when you spot a nice view it always ends up being a time game that you are bound to lose!

I did however manage to snap a few nice one's but it was on mobile so I tried not zooming in too much making it too pixelated.

Okay yeah I know there are a bunch of photos on Hive taken of clouds and the sun but frankly they are beautiful and the sad part of taking photos of the clouds or sun or anything landscape related never tends to come out as majestic as it looks in real life.

It never does! Real life just gives you a different perspective, the real perspective, the powerfull perspective.

I Did However Manage To Get A Few Pictures With The Camera.

Even though the sun already fell in behind the small hill off in the distance. It was literally less than two minutes ago where it was still visible.

However I might have missed the majestic beautifull round glowing ball that I was trying to catch but that is off little concern to me now.

The colour difference is actually immense considering it's less than a two minute difference between the upper and lower photos!

I've come to the conclusion that in order to get those amazing photos right in the moment I'd have to carry the camera with me everywhere I go and to think of it that is probably what most photographers do!

I Made It!

When I saw the glow of the sun still lingering behind the hill in the distance I thought to myself "Well if I run that way I might be able to catch the last glimpse of it before it really fades away into nothingness!

With camera gripped tightly I started running down the farm until I saw that the sun was setting faster than I could run!

What I really wanted was for the sun to be halfway behind the hill, those usually make for the best photos here on the farm. The glare comes through real nicely then and the look of it is a absolute killer!

All your photos were amazing. The pics from the mobile were stunning to say the least. Awesome sunset. Thanks for the lovely distraction - got lost in the pics for a sec haha.

I like to see the color of the sky at dusk, and I've done it in the rice fields.

A camera alone doesn't take pictures! it's all about the one who is holding it! Very nice sunset, you capture it very good! 💪

Greetings! You definitely captured beautiful pictures of the sunset, there is definitely a huge difference between the pictures with the mobile phone and the camera, but still, all those pictures are beautiful!

Consider yourself lucky you managed to capture the exact moment you were looking for, where the sun was already setting behind the hills.

Thanks for sharing that beautiful sunset!
