Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!

In the last episode of The Witcher 3 Saga, Geralt finally managed to free Hjalmar from the Ice Giant or rather assist him in the killing of it!
Hjalmar along with Geralt and Vigi also known as The Loon teamed up to kill the wretched creature. Now this wasn't a mutual decision, it was more on the side of being forced to do so by Vigi, The Loon hence the name ey!

Hjalmar along with Vigi, The Loon could finally go home after being stranded here for quite a long time! My work on the island wasn't completely done yet though, I still had to return to the Ice Giant's ship and rescue a man that's very close to losing his mind!

But first I had to go in search of Cerys on the Isle of Svorlag.

A Longer Journey Than Expected!

This is almost always the case and especially so in the world of The Witcher!

I set off on a ship to the small Isle of Svorlag just one of the many Isles that these Skelliger's built settlements on! It's a wonder they aren't at war with each other really!

I was to find Cerys who met up with Udalryk on Svorlag! That shouldn't be too hard right?

Svorlag Is just one of the many settlements where nothing much really goes on, they hardly produce anything other than man power these Skelliger folk! But man power is all they need!

Now if Geralt had any wits left he'd decide to come retire on this little Isle! A lovely place and far far away from all the chaos of the continent!

Off to finding Cerys!

The first logical place to look for her was with Udalryk!

This didn't go as well as I thought or hoped it would! Udalryk is somewhat on the delusional side or so it would seem. He comes across as forgetfull and careless, as if he can't worry the least bit about what can happen next!

He also claims that the Gods speak to him!

Since Udalryk wasn't of much help at all I had to ask around in the village if anyone might have seen Cerys!

A lot of folk did, most of them it would seem!

This one Skelliger woman was of much use! She said I just missed Cerys and that I might need to ask Bergthora or Eiric as she was last on her way to them to ask about the island's history but more so about Udalryk's family and what happened to his brother Aki!

Bergthora, Eiric's wife was the only one of the two I found in the village. Bergthora pointed me towards the docks on the other side of the island. I should find who'm I'm looking for there!

Finding Eiric!

Well finding Eiric wasn't really that hard of a task, even considering that I've never set foot on Svorlag, he made sure everyone from afar could hear him!

The things that desperateness can do to a man!

Eiric was trapped and it didn't look like he was going to be able to pull himself out of that jam!

Cutting the drowners down was the easy part!

The hard part was to cut them down all the while listening to the continuous screams of Eiric as if he was being mauled alive the entire time!
I haven't seen a man more scared than Eiric in a long time!

I also had a struggle to get the information out of him that I needed although that didn't last long when I started threatening him about telling the entire village at how scared he was when the drowners charged down on him!

Eiric sent me all the way up the mountain side to an old abandoned house.

The place has been abandoned for quite sometime, that much is very clear!

That wasn't all that bothered Geralt at the time, there was something else! A darker presence than that! Geralt just couldn't quite pin point what that was!

Expect The Unexpected!

Something Geralt has always forced himself to live with and that's why nothing can come as a surprise!

It was just a matter of time before he would have come across Cerys anyways but as it was meant to be he found her lying unconscious in the abandoned house!

She was hit with something very hard, she'll likely have a headache for a few days! Although, I'm glad she isn't dead!

Confronting Udalryk!

It was time to confront Udulryk about his godly visions or hearings, this was no god at all and is merely a ghost of sorts. It all points back to the family sword that was given to the younger brother instead of the oldest as is tradition!

And one storming seas adventure on which Aki and Udulryk both departed but only Udulryk returned is where it all started!

Geralt and Cerys devised some sort of plan to return the family sword to where Aki died at sea, preferably to place the sword at his resting place.

Geralt alone set out to sea to return the family sword to the resting place of Aki!

The Cause Is Different!

By the time Geralt returned it was clear that returning the family sword to Aki's grave did not change anything at all.

This much made it clear to Geralt that they were not dealing with a ghost of sorts but rather something much much worse!

When Geralt knew it was a Hym he summoned Cerys to a different room to talk in private.

A Hym is a post conjunction creature that feeds off the guilt and shame of its victims. A very dangerous creature and one that is difficult to get rid off!

Geralt laid out a few plans of action that they could take but ultimately both Geralt and Cerys agreed on the solution to try and trick the Hym and have it attaching to someone else that think they might have a guilty conscious when they in-fact don't!

This was going to be hard since if someone came up with a idea they can't tell it to the other person at all!

The trick worked exactly as a trick should!

It was something Geralt never saw coming and neither did I!

Only something a killer can come up with after all! It was risky, oh so risky and one wrong move could have upended the entire situation!

Cerys had a magnificent plan and the execution she used was even more immaculate!
