Emberscale Invoker – A Powerful Fire Magic Attacker

Today I'm back with another Splinterlands Monster Review and the monster I'm going to talk about is Emberscale Invoker.

Emberscale Invoker is a Common Fire Unit from the Escalation set. It uses Magic attacks and has a mana cost of 7 which makes it a great choice for both low and medium mana battles.

This monster is designed to take out the enemy's most important support monsters hiding in the backline instead of wasting attacks on the frontline tank.
Now let's talk about its abilities.

This monster has four abilities in total. The first ability is available at Level 1 while the second unlocks at Level 3 the third at Level 5 and the fourth at the maximum level.

The first ability is Snipe.

Instead of attacking the enemy tank in the first position it targets enemy Magic Ranged or support monsters hiding behind the tank making it very effective at eliminating important backline units. If you place Emberscale Invoker behind a strong frontline tank it can deal heavy damage to the enemy team while your tank absorbs the attacks.

Its second ability is Enrage.

When this monster takes damage it gains a 50% Speed boost making it much harder for enemies to hit and allowing it to dodge more attacks and survive longer.

The third ability is Phase.

Normally Magic attacks always hit their target but with Phase Magic attacks can also miss if this monster's Speed is high enough making it much stronger against Magic based teams.

The fourth and final ability is Ambush

which unlocks at the maximum level. This amazing ability gives the monster a free attack before the first round even begins. When Ambush is combined with Snipe Emberscale Invoker can heavily damage or even eliminate an important enemy backline monster before the battle officially starts giving you a huge advantage right from the beginning.

When using this monster it's best to keep it safely in the backline where it performs exceptionally well behind a powerful frontline tank that can survive for several rounds giving Emberscale Invoker enough time to remove the enemy's support monsters one by one. It is especially effective against teams that rely on healers and Magic support units.

If we talk about its price then currently only the Level 1 version is available on the market and it costs just 1 cent.

However always protect this monster from Sneak attackers because they can directly attack the backline and eliminate it quickly.

As you level up the card all of its stats improve. At higher levels its Magic Attack increases to 3 its Speed becomes 4 its Armor reaches 4 and its Health increases to 6 making it much stronger in battle.
Overall Emberscale Invoker is an excellent Magic attacker for Fire teams and its combination of Snipe Enrage Phase and Ambush makes it a dangerous backline monster that can quickly turn the battle in your favor.
