Loh:#101:THE RESILIENT MOTHER HAVE EVER KNOW.

Good day my wonderful people on this amazing platform.

This my first time posting here in @ladiesofhive community, I was invited by a friend @leemah1 and I will really appreciate your support and guidance here. I will like to answer question number two which is;

2️⃣ Let's talk about a resilient woman, it can be your friend, family member, coworker, etc. What is her life challenge and what did she do to overcome the trial she faced?

Well if you ask anybody one thing about their life they will have a lot to talk about because every woman, mother, ladies have one thing or the other to talk about there situation. As we started to matured as a lady, what we pass through while starting menstrating it comes with pains for most ladies, if the nipple started to tush out it comes with pains, for a lady to got pregnant is with pains,some were admitted at hospital till there labour dates comes to put to bed is with pains still after delivery breastfeeding also hurts non sleeping most times from night till the next morning.

To stop a child from breast its also hurts too you go for drugs till the breast got dried up, If you decided to go for family planning it also comes with pains again is it the insertion or the removal,some will even got married without child they will start going for checkup from one hospital to the herbal people some will not still succeed while some will be successful so if one think of all this stress as a woman you just give up that you won't do anything good in life but we just have to considered some circumstances to get good things done, we have to endure and stay strong.

Let me use my mother as an example of a resilient, she have the wish to study nurse right from her primary level not until when she woke up one day and see that her dream was shattered, so it happens that at her Aunty's place were she grew up, there is nothing like education nor artician for lady because they believe ladies education ends in the kitchen, all she was make to do is to hawk and hawk from morning till night.

But my mum use to be happy to go and sell yam as early as possible because it's like an opportunity for her to go to back to her school windows side outside while she kept her luggage one side then she will jot and Jot everything notable that she knows it will be useful for her that how she continues to study by the window side not until one day while she was peeping and jotting has she use to do always but was caught by a teacher.

The man walk up to her and ask her why she was peeping then she explained all her story to the teacher, then the teacher promised to help her talk to her about that day then followed her home, that faithful day she hasn't make any sales yet as they are approaching the house my mum started crying and getting scared of what her aunt reaction will be, I mean she is not happy going home so the teacher ask her what wrong she told him that her aunty will beat her severely for coming back for not making any sales but the teacher insisted on follow her home but my mum wouldn't stop crying because she knows the type of aunty she has.

But her aunty reaction surprised her, after listening to all what the teacher have to say my aunty pour this man a cold water on the man and the man just left and mind his business.

Just like that, she decided to give my mums hand in marriage immediately without her consent. When my mum heard about her Aunty's decision she run away from the house without telling anybody and went to her mom thinking if she explained what she was passing through to her mum she will pity her and take her back to school but reverse is the case, her mum that send her back to her Aunty's place and she was forced into an arranged marriage before she can think of ran off again.

So after the wedding story changed because the husband is not that well off, there is no food nor clothing and she use to cry from morning till night. The sufferness was so much that her husband find an opportunity to travel out of the village to relocated without my mum so he started hustling as a driver. The only time her husband use to come home is when he's ready to impregnate her and when he is sure that she's pregnant he will go back so that how they lived there marital life from beginning till they gave birth to seven (7) kids which I happen to be the last born of my family so it wasn't easy.

When someone advice my mum to relocate with my dad which she did without thinking twice but what she met is not what she expected.

So she started her Hawking business from one street to the another, just to feed her children and they are both managing there life secretly, my eldest brother just died without any sickness and my mum was so devastated she felt sick and lonely because he was her helping hand,she developed ulcer because she not eat, nor socialized with anybody, all she do was to be reminisce her son's promise of building a house for her,buy her car etc. But with all this, she still stay strong because she has other children to take care of.
