Fastest Route To Acquiring Any Skill (Skill Acquisition Tips).

Acquiring a new skill is likened to nurturing a child and I'm really not the best when it comes to talking people into / motivating people to acquire skills. As a matter of fact, I don't even talk about it unless a person has made moves/ endeavours on their own end to start learning that skill and they've past the stage of "I want to learn" or "I'd like to learn". Basically, I got tired of motivating folks who procrastinated and still ended up not learning the skills they told me they wanted to learn.

But, I think I've been quite helpful guiding folks on how to learn that new skill really fast. I've had experiences with a bunch of skills, like drawing, swimming, cooking, playing a musical instrument and driving a truck which kinda makes me appreciate the process of learning something new even though it may seem like the toughest thing in the world at that point.

To learn anything really fast, there should be a sincere interest in that skill. Trying to learn a skill because someone told you to learn it or because you're attracted to the money that comes with it the skill could make the journey really though, not exciting and less fun. The individuals would definitely acquire the skill, but the journey won't be as easy and they wouldn't appreciate it as much as someone who truly loved the skill. The sincere and true interest for a skill goes a long way and would definitely make the learning process faster and more enjoyable.

Taking breaks while learning is fine, but personally, I don't advice it and here's why. Imagine of someone goes to the pool every single day to learn how to swim. In a space of two months, they should be pretty confident in their swimming skill and would be better at the skill than another person who started with them but only shows up probably thrice every week and loves taking breaks. Regardless of the other features like talent or physical advantages, I believe learning a skill requires complete dedication and consistency, at least for the duration of learning that skill. Breaks should be a sacrifice for our self development and we really don't need them. We may feel tired or burned out..taking a couple minutes or hours off to refresh our mind is cool, but days??...alot could've been learnt and mastered in those days.

Learning a skill without practicing very often makes them wear off unfortunately. Some trials could of course bring them back but the individual would most likely not be better at it. "Practice makes Perfect" is an old saying which can still be related to. Perfcetion is a mirage but the best people in any field have practiced countless of times more than any average person in the same field. Practicing is the only way to make a skill become an instant part of our being.

Finally, learning from people with the experience would definitely ease and hasten the process of acquiring a new skill. This would eliminate wastage of time as well as money and would allow us focus on the important stuffs needed to excel in the field. The expert or more experienced individual would expose us to the best tools, best techniques, their experiences, their mistakes and their golden moments. This would inturn give room for us to be better than they were and would save us the unnecessary burden of running through the skill's maze.

I hope you find these useful as you learn that new skill. It's definitely not an easy journey trying to master something new, but with these tips, that journey could become fun, exciting, easy and worthwhile.

True. Interest is something that is more than any monetary incentives.
