Hive As A Worthy Retirement Plan.

Last night I had a couple finance related conversations with my sister and we talked about how important it to start planning and building a structure for retirement. As someone who's quite optimistic of the future but sometimes fear how the future is filled with so many unknowns, I've been focusing and working mostly on things that I know would be relevant and important to me and my family decades from now. I've seen and heard about many individuals who had a great start in life and it all came crashing down later. This scares me so much as even my dad had such an experience hence my focus on my retirement from an early age.

Hive is one of those platforms that I hold in high regards and I'm willing to go through the struggles, pain and stress of building because I do see fit and worthy of being a retirement plan. Of course, key to reducing the risk associated with so many kinds of investments these days is to diversify but Hive stands out alot and I'm giving it so much attention and time because I do believe in what it stands for and its future.

Retirement is a time when most folks either choose to not be as active as they use to be or have to stop being active because of how old they're becoming. With respect to retirement because of old age, I think it's beautiful and I honestly look forward to it as I plan to explore the world more and just enjoy the beauties of this planet till my last breathe. Hive asides being a very good investment would also be a great way to use my brain cells and share with the world beautiful memories from my adventure and life as a retiree. Besides the fact that I would still be able to earn from my blogs, I believe the price of one Hive would have reached a price so high most people would wish they were on Hive way earlier. There'll also be so much activities on Hive that should make retirement interesting and I look forward to that, well, hopefully in the next 25 years...lol

My point however is that Hive has some really great long term plans for those who stick with it, from hodlers, to content creators , to developers and builders on the blockchain. The future is bright and Hive is worth being a part of your retirement plan.

I think the same as you. Although I cultivate it mainly as a hobby now, I don't really care how much money it makes, but I'm happy with the little. Sometimes I power down, but only to invest in other promising projects, such as Zeniq. For me, this is a game that is enjoyable and fun, although I often have too little time to read long posts, translate them and write comments, and then translate them back into English. @castleberry pointed out to me that I should be more committed to the community. It is much more difficult to do this virtually, mainly because English is not my native language, and that is why I use translation programs (DeepL, Google).
Coming back to your topic, I think Hive can be a good pension supplement, but you shouldn't rely on it alone. It is important that creating content should always be a pleasure, not a compulsion.
