How To Excel In Any Job Interview (Tips And Guides)
It is the 21st century and every person on the planet is expected to be interviewed at some points in their lives. These interviews could be for when seeking a job, when applying for promotions or seeking a position at work, when you want to join an organisation, when you plan on migrating, and so many other instances that require a formal meeting with whoever is going to to grant you access to the opportunity you seek. An interview is simply an official meeting with those incharge or their representatives to access you for the opportunity you seek. You are accessed here and judged if you are a fit for the opportunity and if you meet the requirements. Here are some things to note before attempting an interview.
Stay Calm And Have A Chat;
So many people get nervous when they have interviews and this is quite normal. The pressure of knowing you'll be judged, the pressure to give correct answers to the questions asked, to be the best and most qualified candidate interviewed and also pleasing your interviewers all contribute to why people get nervous during and when they are about to be interviewed. The solution to this is to first, practice and prepare for your interviews even before you have one. This is by either practicing your possible answers time over time for weeks and months before an interview especially if you know you have alot of them coming up and since you'll definitely be having interviews as you progress through life. This has worked for me so well, and having the right possible answers to interview questions already stamped on your mind saves you from giving the wrong answers and makes you less nervous. Please do not memorise answers, practicing here is to allow you know the kind of answers you'd give as most interviewers expect some certain kinds of answers for their questions.
Also make sure you put yourself in a position that doesnt makes you anxious, like eating right, dressing in comfortable clothings and having all you need for your interview right there with you.
Don't Give Short Answers:
As much as short answers appeal to keep you safe, interviews aren't the best times for them. Your answers should have atleast 2 sentences hence giving the interviewer an insight into how well you speak and communicate and how knowledgeable you are. This is why it is best to be well prepared and practice your answers over time.
Ask important questions:
In most cases, you'll also be given the opportunity to ask questions towards the end of your interview and unfortunately some people miss this great opportunity to leave a good impression on the interviewers. You really should take thsi opportunity to ask important questions related to the role you applied for, the company or organisation and even the staffs r representatives that have interviewed you.
Every interviewer always remembers the person who left a great impression. The first impression matters alot and this is why you really want to pit in so much effort into making a great first impression with interviewers. I hope you find this post useful and I wish you the very best in your endeavours.

A lot of people tend to panic whenever they are going for an interview. They get scared at everything and anyone who panics will not look organized.
I am guilty of this too but I am gradually changing.
