If It Works, Keep Doing It (A Tale Of Consistency On HIVE).
Quite often, I remember how I started on the Hive blockchain like most other newbies. I was new to the whole crypto space and was so busy making a bunch of newbie mistakes like most people do. I found Hive (Steem at time) and just tried to make sense out of it, the technology was new to me and I had no guide.

I had a certain mindset when I joined the platform particularly since it was introduced to me as a posting to earn platform and I wasn't really briefed on how to use the platform other than to post anything and could earn up to $1000 on a post as it was then. It's truly so funny how I began shitposting and plagiarising just trying to earn a couple bucks (plagiarism and copyright infringement aren't serious issues in my country so most people from here had a very poor mindset on this and didn't really think of it as something bad, but Hive educated quite alot of us on what was right and wrong).
Well, I did all I could possibly do trying to earn up to a dollar on a post back then and I remember how even after a month of posting, I still didn't earn up to $10 for the whole month. I wasn't alone in this. There were quite alot of us who joined Steem with hopes that it would be a source of income but unfortunately, I'm currently the only one left from my clique who's currently active on Hive. This is simply because everyone got frustrated at how the platform didn't give as much money as we expected especially since we saw what other users were earning on the trending page.
Everyone else became inactive including myself for while, but while I was inactive, I studying the blockchain, why I wasn't earning on it and the crypto market in general. I understood the platform was special in a way and we were probably not well informed or were doing somethings wrong. I kept seeing how people earned and just can't leave the blockchain because it wasn't working for me just yet.
What many of us failed to realise is that even on any other social media platforms in the world, it's almost very rare to see any new user start making money from their activies or contents in their early days on the platform and yet that doesn't mean creators shouldn't create and earn in the long run. Hive was different and gave the opportunity to start earning even one the first day of posting.
You see my friends, consistency does pay off and understanding that patience is the key to building wealth would help us grow faster than we could imagine. With my experience with blockchain over the years, I agree we may need some breaks, a couple days and maybe a couple weeks, but if it works , you really should never quit it. Sticking to Hive and never quitting has been one of my best decisions and it could expose us to many opportunities in the crypto space as it did with me. I'm glad to still be here and hope the world gets to see it for the gem it is.
Hive and Leo are great places to be in the bear market, power up everything and maximize, be consistent, help others and watch it grow!

Yeah, doing just that. Being consistent and growing with a community always pays off. There's really no better place to be right now than Hive and even when the market recovers, Hive remains a gem.
I wouldn't say I had difficulty maneuvering Hive as a newbie because I had help. I was just lucky to have met awesome folks the first few weeks I joined. And they helped me through my Hive journey. I'll be forever grateful to them..
I am sorry about how your journey turned out but I am glad the break was worth it.
I am sure your journey will be smoother as you go on.
Thank you so much. It was really though at first. It's been years and I'm still be here. You're truly lucky to have found guidance here when you joined, no many gave that opportunity and not many stick to the opportunity they found. You're special too and I'm glad you're having a great time on Hive.
Dear @teesart, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago when the HBD stabilizer proposal rose above it.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work?
You can do it on Peakd, Ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.
