The Importance Of Keeping Your Wealth And Riches A Secret.

Recently, I checked out a movie where a man found a massive quantity of gold in a remote area during the gold rush. He had found it just when people felt the gold in the area was depleted and he immediately ran off to the town to share the good news of his findings. Before that, he had taken some quantity of the pure gold he had found to his wife and afterwards, he headed out to the pub, showed off some of the pure gold he found, announced to the other gold miners that he was now freaking rich and offered to employed them to help him mine some gold. Although, he kept the location of the gold secret, he was murdered the next day.

While I was watching how things played out for this man, I instantly felt it was a stupid idea to have announced to the entire village that he was now rich coupled with the fact that he showed off the gold he found which I felt was a really bad idea. If only he had kept his wealth a secret, he would have probably lived way longer.

There are two major importance of keeping our wealth and riches a secret. The first is that keeping it a secret protects us from being the target of thieves, robbers and hackers in the case of cryptos. I've heard quite alot of stories about people who got attacked by thieves because they showed off their wealth and riches. They weren't attacked at random and the thieves knew exactly what they were coming for.

Secondly, keeping our wealth a secret also protects us from fake love and opportunists. The human love for wealth and riches is so dangerous that we can try to befriend even a wild animal just so we can get hold of the money or gems in its mouth. We are so attracted to wealth and I really don't blame us since it's natural to always want more to secure our future but sometimes we don't know where to draw the line. Keeping our wealth a secret could save us from betrayals, entitlements, wrong responsibilities and fake friends in general. People tend to show their true character when money isn't involved and that can be really helpful in making us understand the kind of people we move around with and those in our circle.

Wealth and riches aren't that easy these days to keep a secret since they often come with a change/ upgrade in lifestyle and wants, but they can be kept secret or not made fully public especially since exposing our wealth brings the wrong attention most times.
