A Lovely and Winter~y Wonderland 😍😍😍 (acrylic on canvas pad)

I'm so excited and happy because mama and papa bought me art materials for Christmas, and yes, I got it weeks earlier. I'll be sharing more about the presents I received next time, but this time, allow me to share a painting I made using the stuff I received.

It's a lovely and winter~y wonderland!!! I painted it using acrylic paint on a canvas pad. It's my first time painting on a canvas and I really enjoyed the experience. I surely can't wait to paint more in the days to come.

Now, let me show you some progress shots on how I made the painting.

First things first, get ready with the materials you need and prepare the canvas.

Then, I made an outline on how I want my painting to look. I don't usually put outlines and stuff, but it's my first time using canvas, so I was scared to mess up... Though in the end, I enjoyed more than I expected! Now, let's get down to business... haha

I enjoyed playing with the colors especially when mixing because I literally just have the primary colors, black and white paint. Also, I've been using quite a lot of pink, but it's just so attractive especially when it's in the sky, so I made pinkish clouds and even the river. Now, let's add more detail to the painting "aka" snow~y stuff.

Living in a tropical country, I've always wanted to see nd experience snow. Since I'm not able to for now, let me just imagine and paint such scenery.

All that's left is taking out the tapes and adding my username and signature.

And so, there you have it... My lovely and winter~y wonderland! 🥰 Now that I have more materials that would make painting or drawing easier, I feel more inspired to draw and paint. This is quite addicting in a good way since it allows me to escape reality and express myself in whatever piece I'm making.
