Garden Update: Growing Vegetables Is Lots Of Fun [PROGRESS SHOTS]!!!! <3

Hey friends!!! :)
Gardening is indeed a very fulfilling hobby. It's not only a good exercise, but also a very fun activity to do. For me, the most exciting part more than harvesting what you've planted is seeing some progress.

In the past, when we buy some vegetables from the market, we could only see the actual produce... but it's actually pretty interesting to see how they were able to grow from seed, to sprouts until they're able to bear some vegetables.

Every time I see some progress, no matter how small it is, it's more than enough to make me smile and think to myself how amazing the day is. :)

So in this post, I'm going to show some progress shots of the vegetables we have in our home garden. :)

It's really pretty how the tomatoes turned from green, to yellow, to lighter orange and reddish orange. We were able to harvest two of them already. Only one from the previous batch is left, but last week, I saw a tiny baby tomato starting to grow as well. I'll show the harvest in another blog together with the other stuff we harvested and cooked. :)

There was that one time around a couple weeks back when our eggplant produced three eggplants at the same time. We already harvested and cooked the two bigger ones and only the smaller one is left now. It has grown bigger as well, so we might harvest and cook it soon. :)

Then, earlier this week, I saw these babies in one of our bell pepper plants. I was so happy that morning I noticed it that I shouted from the backyard and called my mama to come over and see them. hahaha

For this, we just took some seeds from some bell pepper we used for our dish and randomly placed it in some pot... then I just re-planted them when sprouts started growing... and voila!!! They're here!!! <3

And... for the first time in forever, our "siling labuyo" or wild chili finally showed some progress. This is among the first batch of seeds we planted. It just kept bearing flowers, but never the chili itself until earlier this week. There's only one, though... but it's a good start. It'll grow more chili eventually. I'd love to see some colorful ones in the garden someday.

In addition, we bought some more seeds last time and it may arrive tomorrow or on Monday. We decided to plant some vines like bitter gourd, cucumber and other stuff. We're just going to limit the growth because of our small space, but we can arrange it like our malabar spinach which is also a vine. :)

Lastly, I also took a shot of our water spinach (kangkong) this afternoon. It has grown quite well, hasn't it? You can also see some eggplant seedlings beside it. If the weather is good this weekend, I'd be busy working in the garden again. I have to replant some sprouts. :)

Thanks a lot for checking my progress post of our cute and lovely garden. I'm excited to share more progress in the days to come. See you around!!!!
