Garden Updates: Replanting the Bitter Gourd and Trying to Germinate Some Calamansi :)

After 48 years... (Just kidding!)
We're finally able to replant the bitter gourd plants into a much bigger container. We were waiting for the garden soil to be delivered and it took quite a while. It arrived and so papa was excited to do the replanting. haha He did it on my work day, so I could only document parts of it.

So, we separated them in two containers. There are around three to four seedlings in one. And since bitter gourd plant is a vine, we would need a place for it to crawl and grow.

We still have some bamboo left from when we fixed our front fence, so these would do. It's quite long, though.

Papa had to cut some part of it because we are actually going to attach it to a recycled makeshift arc which we got from a broken table. haha

Tada!!! It's all done and all we have to do is wait for it to grow and bear some yummy bitter gourds!

We placed them in this side of the garden. We really have to be creative since we got limited space at home. I hope they grow well. :)

These are some calamansi (Philippine lime) seeds we collected when we squeezed some fruits to make calamansi juice. I placed them on this plate to dry and I had to separate them.

These are empty, so it's impossible for them to germinate.

And these might still grow. I'm not sure, but I just decided to plant all of them. Hopefully, a couple or more sprouts would grow.

I planted all of the seeds here. I added some garden soil and is now patiently waiting for something to grow. haha I'll update when there are sprouts...

While I was transferring the garden soil, I saw these two babies. They're yellow-spotted millipede. I set them free after taking the photo, though. I wonder where they're thriving now. haha

And yes... that's it for now. I'll update more about our garden in the days to come. Thanks for checking! See you around! (^^,)/
