Getting Ready For the Typhoon Season??? xD

Today, I'm going to share some pictures I took earlier this morning. At first, my mama woke me up and asked me if I opened some classes today because the people from the electric company are coming over to cut the branches in the tree in front of our house.

This tree is kind of old and the branches are growing really big that some of the electric lines were hit by them. As you know, the Philippines is situated in the middle of vast waters, so typhoon is very common in my country especially from July to November.

One of the preparations that we do is cutting some overgrown branches which might cause accidents during typhoon by cutting some electric lines and stuff. So yeah, let me show you the pictures before it was cut off.

I personally like this tree because it keeps the place cool and the shade is really helpful especially during the hot days. However, as I've mentioned above, it's a been dangerous especially that some electric wires were affected by them. So, my parents contacted the electric company yesterday to send some people to cut the branches properly.

It's important to ask help from them instead of cutting the branches by yourself, because it's much safer this way. Here are some pictures I took in the morning.

Of course, the tree branches and leaves will grow again after a few months. It's so much brighter now, and warmer... but safer especially during the rainy and windy days.

Now... where are the leaves and the branches? Ohh.. I took some aesthetic shots below. :)

Aren't they dramatic? hahaha... Anyway, the cut branches and leaves weren't put to waste. :)





Some of our neighbors use woods in cooking, so we gave them the cut branches. I guess around three or four families shared them. And as for the leaves, they also separated it to give to their goats. So yeah, nothing's wasted.

You can also see some of the workers on the side. They're eating snacks provided by mama and papa. It was a sunny day, so it's a good time for cold drinks and some snack. :)

Papa took a picture of me, mama and Arashi from the outside, while I took a picture of him going inside. I haven't stepped out of the wooden gate, though I have stepped out of the metal one. lol

Through this, we can absorb the brightness of the sun much better in the morning. I miss Mr. Sun, especially that I still haven't gone outside for a long time. :)

And yeah... that's about it. I do hope there won't be very strong typhoons this year, though. ^^ Stay safe everyone! Take care always and have a great one! <3
