I Miss Kuroo, So I Drew Him 🥰😍

It was a super hectic day today. My PC which I usually use for work has been acting up lately, so my best friend and I had to do some troubleshooting to fix it. We had to check and did some changes in both the software and hardware. It was finally doing okay and I hope it last for a long time. I can't afford to lose my PC now.

So much for the crazy day today, I decided to draw Kuroo from Haikyuu! I actually made this yesterday, but since I already uploaded my painting, I saved this for a later date.

Supposedly, I was to make a fanart of Akaashi from the same anime since it was his birthday, but I had greater urge to draw Kuroo because I miss him. hahah My forever bias... XD

In making this artwork, I used Brush pens and colored pencils. And here it is!!!

I just love this character so much... Not only because he's cool but he seems to be very fun to be with. In addition, he has this nerdy side, so I bet we could really get along. Hahaha .. yeah, I'm dreaming! XD

Anyway, allow me to share some progress shots of this artwork.

I was supposed to end this drawing here, thus the username and signature, but I didn't like how I left out a lot of uncolored spaces. If I tried to fill them up with the brush pens, the color would be darker and the paper would be more damp, so I decided not to. Instead, I took out my colored pencils and fill up the white spaces.

It looked so much better afterwards. I didn't think the brush pens would go well together with the colored pencils. It was. Surprisingly compatible!

Here's my hidden stash of coloring materials. Yaaay! They're my old ones, but still in pretty good shape .. haha I'll talk more about my art materials in another post, for now, let's enjoy Kuroo's beauty.

He's my favorite character to draw in Haikyuu! His rooster-like hairstyle is kind of difficult, but the white spaces filled up with some black colored pencils looked pretty good in the drawing. It's my favorite part since I always mess up his hair. 😂😅

Anyway, I hope you like this drawing. I'm still patiently waiting for season five and for sure, I'll be more in love with this character when the fifth season is released. 😍
