May be a mere mirage!

Alex and his friends were out drinking and talking randomly at the sea side and it was pretty late at night.

They were having fun doing their bonfire night as friends who had been together from childhood. Alex was enjoying every second of the event as he drowned himself in wine.

He drank but seemed he was never getting drunk. His eyes were still clear and sharp compared to his friends who were already speaking gibberish due to excessive amounts of alcohol.

The music box was still on and the boys were still dancing even in their drunken State, Alex sat on the sand very close to the fire as he sipped his wine enjoying the moment, eyes fixed on the waves of the sea.

The wind blew and he closed his eyes to feel nature and the pleasure it carries. The moment he opened his eyes, something passed his face and he was pretty sure he felt a strong wind sweep past his face.

This sent cold chills running down his spines. For the first time Alex felt cold chills run down his spine. He knew he was afraid but he decided to keep his cool and pretend nothing happened.

He closed his eyes again and when he opened them, the same thing repeated itself. This time Alex drew closer to his friends who were already drifting off to sleep in the little tent they pitched at the shore. He curled himself up as well but with eyes wide open and alert in case of any emergency.

He looked at his friends and pitied them because they were in a critical state. He looked steadfastly and this time a shadow-like creature walked past their tent slowly.

Alex froze, he shook his friends and only one of them responded, "this place is haunted guys, I'm seeing shadows around" Alex whispered to Jay the one who was a little bit awake. "May be a mirage Alex!, Rest please", Jay responded in a rather absurd manner as he put his head back on the pillow close to him.

Alex was getting pissed he was the only one awake to witness the terror. He froze even more when their fire was blown out.

Hooooo, hooooo, came the sound from afar off but loud enough to wake up a sleeping baby. Alex wasn't himself anymore all that was left of him was for him to pee in his pants.

Hooooo, came the sound again this time even louder and something dropped on the roof of their tent. The boys were somehow awake and they figured their fire had been turned off, they called into Alex but Alex was dumbstruck.

Hooooo,came the sound again this time it was really creepy and all Alex heard at that moment was run. They all scurried to nowhere exactly, some found their faces in the water and some their feets in the close by woods.

Hahaha! Idiots! So you all could get really scared huh? Drake had just scared the hell outta them all. He just arrived to join the party but he was pretty late and so had to waken their spirits by scaring them all with the help of his girlfriend Lizzy.

The boys felt like beating the hell outta Drake for lifting their spirits that high. Alex couldn't say anything as he just slummed onto the crossed chair thinking of how to get back at Drakes.
