What's your reaction to horror movies?
My day has been amazing with me watching rom-coms and YouTube short videos till I stumbled on a horrific movie filled with suspense and gripping fear called "the nun".
Honestly this movie is scary as hell, I shivered and gnashed my teeth, I lost control of everything, couldn't even touch my phone.
One question I asked myself was, if this movie is scary why don't you just take it out? I seriously couldn't find an answer to that question as I was stuck with my phone's screen, my eyes open even wider than expected.
I was scared and at the same time drawn into the movie, I couldn't stop it as I was left in total suspense and wanted to see the ending.
Was it gonna be a happy ending or a sad ending? It's horror! I said to myself and I'm gonna freak out to the very end. At one point I felt like I was alone in a cinema, my room felt like it was completely dark and I was gonna experience the same thing happening in the movie in seconds.
Honestly, I stopped the movie when it felt like they were acting the whole scenario right in front of my face. It's getting dark right now and I'm freaking out. I'm not good at horror at all but I really don't know what sent me to YouTube today.
Okay, as it stands I've buckled my belt for whatever kind of ride it's gonna be tonight because I think my imagination is gonna play freaking tricks on me.
My reaction to horror movies is something I can't explain, it gets wild after watching every scene, it turns my ceiling and wardrobe to ghosts and moving images.
They say when you're all grown up, you're no longer subject to fear but I really don't think that's working for me right now because I'm resorting to sleeping at my friend's place.
I don't know how you all react to horror but to me it's like I'm going crazy.
I love horror movies, hehe.
Mostly I watch them at midnight to get the actual feel of horror.
I always try to finish them in one go, no breaks, not even for going to the bathrooms, those are the moments when you get the fear.
This could be the worse thing that should ever happen.i hate that feeling of being pressed when I'm watching or just finished watching horror.
Oh you're so different from me, you even do it at midnight 😬. I wouldn't dare that one lest I pass.
I want to do things to enjoy their fullest and that's why the timing, hehehe.
Watch 'Don't Breathe' and 'Orphan'. These two don't have any paranormal things but are a lot thrilling and will give you a taste of horror. Top on my list.
I'd only try it if I get to sleep over at someone's place. Lol
I don't have a reaction since I simply don't watch horror movies. There's already too much evil in this world, I'd rather see something else on TV. 😶
I hate seeing horror movies especially if I'm all by myself and this one happened accidentally and I just couldn't stop it.
I like to see horror funny movies . But i like to see those movies in daylight not at night..... :)
Whether or not I see the movies in the day, the memories still stick to my brain and hunt me at night
I super enjoy horror movies, in the past I used to love the supernatural horror type movies, but now I get even more terrified with murders and serial killer movies because they're real.
They are real??? I thought they were all fiction. Goodness me
Yep, hahahahah. A movie that was based on a true story and still gives me chills to this day is Memories of Murder. Try watching it, it's definitely worth the watch.
Is it really horrific??
Not really, it's about a serial killer who has committed horrible crimes back from 1986 to 1991 and was just recently caught in 2019.
Owk! I totally get it and would check it out soon.
But the message it portrayed was truly terrifying
Lol. Hope it's a 10/10
Or is it a true event that's been acted or a movie with a real murder action.
a true event that's been acted
Suppose you are alone watching horror movies at your home and at the same time someone secretly comes and puts his hand on your shoulder. At that time you will feel real fear. No matter how scared you are of ghosts, you will love watching horror movies.
I really don't think I'd ever get used to watching horror or even love it. It's too terrifying
