Hello #foodies in the house ๐Ÿค—

Most people might be wondering what this is all about again.

So today on my food blog, I will be sharing with us the step by step process of how I made my tasty and delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ custard egg.

This can also be use as a substitute for meat, fish or ponmo (cow skin)

This is actually pocket friendly and as we all know the health benefits of egg intake, so I would also say it is beneficial to our body system.

Without taking much of our time, let's dive into the step by step process.

First, I begin by rinsing my pepper and onion then I grated it into a small bowl (depending on the number of eggs)

Then you place a clean pot containing little quantity of water on fire, while you continue other process.

I broke my eggs into the bowl containing the grated pepper and onion.

Then I added my seasoning to taste (bullion cube and salt)

You whisk together till it's fully mixed then you pour inside a nylon and tie.

At this point, the water must have reached it's boiling point then you put the packed egg mixture inside it.

cover and allow it to be fully cooked for about 5 minutes then you light off the cooking appliance.

Unwrap the nylon and place the egg inside a plate/tray for easy cutting.

Here is how the inside looks like after cutting.

NOTE: It can be use for any meal of your choice, there is actually no restriction regarding which food it goes along with.

I sliced into my desired sizes then I pour it into my just prepared egunsi soup which is still very hot.

I covered it and allow the heat to steam it up together with the soup since am not eating immediately.

Does the green color come from spices? I don't see any green spices.
