Let's make a delicious potato tempura with hummingbird leaves full of taste, aroma and color.

How are you, Wishing everyone a good evening. I believe that all of you are spending these days very happily. I have been very busy these days with my personal work. That's why I couldn't come to share a delicious meal with you. However, today I have brought you a very easy to make potato tempered for those who like to eat a little spicy food.Do you know that when we make many curries/tempere, we add curry leaves, it is a normal method, but today I am bringing to you to make ala tempura with the addition of hummingbird leaves. Let's see how to make it.

Ingredients;

  • 150g of potatoes
  • 100g of large onions
  • 100ml of oil
  • A teaspoon of sugar
  • Three cloves of garlic
  • Two teaspoons of chilli pieces
  • Half teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon of pepper powder
  • One and half teaspoons of salt powder
  • 300ml of water
  • About three or four pieces of hummingbird leaves
  • About 4 green chili pods
  • A piece of pandan leaves

The method of making;

First, wash and clean the potatoes and cut them into small pieces.

Now put a pot on the stove and add 300 ml of water to it, add half a teaspoon of salt powder and boil these cut potato pieces.

After that, wash and clean the big onions and cut them very thinly. Also, cut the garlic into small slices and the chilies into small pieces.

Peel the boiled potato pieces.

Fry finely chopped onions in deep oil until golden.

Add a tablespoon of oil from the remaining oil after frying the onions to another pan and when the oil is hot, first add the white onion slices cut into circles.

When the garlic turns golden in low flame, add the chopped rampe leaves.

Then add turmeric powder and A teaspoon of salt powder.

Saute everything on low heat for about a minute, then add chopped green chillies and pepper.

Turn off the flame and add the hummingbird leaves.

Stir everything with hummingbird leaves, now keep the flame on low level and add the cut and boiled potato pieces and fry for about a minute.

Now turn off the stove and then add fried onion and chili pieces with teaspoons of sugar and stir well and keep it on the stove for about a minute. Then remove from heat.

Looks beautiful and tastes really good. And that's a bit harsh. But because of the added sugar, it doesn't taste very spicy.You can change the spiciness here as per your need. If there is someone who doesn't like spiciness, he can make it without pepper and chilli pieces.You can really prepare this looking and delicious potato tempered for a lunch that your guests will love as well as your family members.
