Now, I will lead you to an extremely poetic and equally magnificent, classic place ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ Tu Duc Tomb

Come on, let's discover what's inside Tu Duc Tomb. Let's go!

Emperor Tu Duc was a talented man who loved literature and poetry, so his resting place was also chosen intelligently and carefully. The place chosen by the king to rest is located in a narrow valley in Duong Xuan Thuong village, Cu Chanh canton (now Thuong Ba village, Thuy Xuan commune, Hue city), surrounded by forests covered with trees, inside poetry, dream, blue scene, charming lake.
Tu Duc Tomb was built during his alive, which lasted from 1866 to 1873, until 10 years after the mausoleum was completed, he passed away. When he was alive, Tu Duc often came here to rest, called Khiem Cung, when he died, called Khiem Lang.

Entering the tomb gate will be Luu Khiem lake surrounded by pine forest. This place is very cool, and fresh, and sometimes there will be birds singing. On the campus of Luu Khiem lake are Xung Khiem Pavilion and Du Khiem Pavilion, where the king often came to see flowers, write poems, read books... There are three bridges Tuan Khiem, Tien Khiem, and Do Khiem cross over the lake leading to green pine hills, cool. In the middle of the lake, there is a small island called Tinh Khiem. Around the lake are flowers, and plants, and next to it there is a small cave for the emperor to raise rare animals. This is indeed a poetic and gentle landscape like the person of Emperor Tu Duc himself.

Inside Khiem Cung Mon is an area for the king to rest when coming here. In the middle is Hoa Khiem Palace for the king to work, now is the place to worship the king and queen's tablets. After Hoa Khiem Palace is Luong Khiem Palace, formerly the resting place of the king, later used to worship the departed soul of Empress Dowager Tu Du, mother of Emperor Tu Duc.

Entering from the tomb area is the grave area. Right behind Bai Dinh with two rows of statues of martial arts officials is Bi Dinh with a 20-ton Thanh Hoa stone stele engraved "Khiem Cung Ky" composed by Emperor Tu Duc himself. The full text is 4,935 words long and is an autobiography of the emperor about his life, reigning career as well as his risks, illnesses, and confessing guilt of Emperor Tu Duc. Behind the stele are two pillars standing like two shining torches along with the new moon-shaped Tieu Khiem lake containing rainwater for the emperor's soul to baptize. Going deep inside is the burial place of Emperor Tu Duc. The hole is 6m deep and the surrounding area is surrounded by stone walls and covered with trees.

I was there many years ago, in 2010, I guess. You make me miss that day. That's really good place to come and learn about our country history and see the beautiful structures.
