How is the week treating you?

I have been well busy this week so far, and just taking a breather, catching up with hive posts and seeing which pictures to enter for this contest.

Metal is what @friendlymoose choose as the topic for the new round of #POBphotocontest

Can you guess what that is and where it is?

At my local beach, there are steps leading up from some rocks at one of the beach. These steps have railings that are supported with metal poles, presumably iron.

With such a corrosive environment, Scottish wind and sea spray it is no wonder that the poles are showing their age and rusting. If you look you can see that the concrete that it is set into has little mosiac pottery shards embedded into it. All the posts are like that.

It was shot on my Android phone on a cloudy UK spring day.
