Hello Hello shadow hunters and all people of the Hive

We had the famous Links market in town last weekend and I was up early last Friday to to go and have a look see at what is what.

Everything you see was taken between 7am and 8am last Friday in Kirkcaldy, Scotland.

The sun had already made an appearance, so I grabbed my phone and camera and headed to the funfair towards the beach!

That's the burn that runs down the bottom of my road to the sea.

The big lorries that you see are from the funfair.

The tide was going out and it was going to be a glorious spring day. I took lots of picks for other posts and made my way home, then bam.

Here though are four of my shadow hunting pictures!

I titled this post Ready Steady Go,well don't you think the chequered white markings look like a race track?

There are a couple of the big lorries or do you call them trailers or semis!



That is a bit more of me and my shadow or the white railing!

The tradition of the fair is quite fascinating. I'm happy you found some shadows there. Thanks for entering the Shadow Contest again! 🌞

Yes a great tradition although for the most part, the weather this year was pretty meh!
Always great to find shadow though😁

Ah street fairs are always pretty awesome. I think the food is what I love the most. I remember when Covid hit and they had to shut down all the fairs they still had parking lots filled with the food trucks so you could still experience that piece of it.

The only problem with our funfairs is they jack up the food prices and here we are lucky with the food already available.

It is good that those trucks were still able to keep doing, loads of food and entertainment bizs bit the bullet over here :(

Yes, but can you get an elephant ear any place else but the fair? We can't over here.

Don't you find the feel of the coast a lot better than the inland? I just love the coast.
Lovely photos, it looks like the shadow-hunting photo is fun.
