What have the cat and I conjured up?

Hello Hello and welcome to the weekend people!

I was walking home this afternoon from a hike to Raith Lake and had a wee chat with this cat in the park.

image.png

Before I divulge our conversation, I just want to say that this post is all about products and more information can be found in the [WE102] Weekend-Engagement concept from @galenkp in The Weekend community.

I was tempted to talk about a changed product. Friday is my takeaway night, and in days of old I used to love KFC, they really had awesome chicken, the spices they used made the chicken skin finger licking good. I heard they have been taken over by a Chinese company, well their chicken has gone to ratshit, and the only thing that is decent now is the Zinger, I do know @galenkp is partial to a Zinger or two. The KFC recipe was never really secret as it was widely available in their early restaurants and I am lucky in so far as a local takeaway who have nailed it and their southern fried chicken is superb and blows the socks of KFC.

However, I am not going to go for that option. There was another option about showing us your products on your bedside table. I admit in days gone by my bedside table was a catch all, and the top drawer would be full of all kinds of crap. Now though, it is boring af, socks and undies are in the drawers, the top of the table has a lamp, a couple of books and some face and beard moisturiser. So that is boring and will not be my products I am going to talk about!

Back to my friend the cat.

He had heard my disgust as I saw yet more dog 💩 on the pavement or sidewalk you perhaps call it.

I could hear him meowing "those fricking messy dogs". I had come across umpteen piles of dog 💩 on my three hour walk today. Additionally, there were the little dog bags that had been left with 💩 inside. You know the only reason the dog owner even picked the crap up was because the dog had been seen having a crap. So the owner picks it up, and as soon as the person is out of view, they dump the bag on the side.

What a bunch of tossers.

Dog owners that let their dog foul all over the place without cleaning it up are the pits of society.

Dogs need to do their business, of course they do, but owners should pick it up. Have you ever stood in it, got it on your shoes, brought it into your house, onto your carpets, it is fricking disgusting!

So the wee cat and I were deciding who would invent the ultimate product for these dog owners.

The product is incredibly simple, and would, we hope be a deterrent to these dog owners that refuse to pick up their dog's mess.

Dog poo remover!

The idea would be that the dog poo would be scanned insitu and the dog and hence the owner identified. The part that cat dreamed up was this...
Once the owner was identified, the poo would be magically transported and dumped over the dog owners head.

We are pretty confident that the dog owner would think twice about leaving their dogs poo on the pavement/sidewalk again!

The Dog poo remover product had me tickled and the cat and I parted waves, both us vowing to update each other if we could find an inventor to invent our product!

Have a great weekend people and if you have a dog, pick up the poo, you don't want the Dog poo remover to land on you!

Tee Hee Tengo, I love this product and I would walk everywhere with my little dog poo lazer laughing meniachally as I zap all the dog poo I see. It would probably only last a week before they started picking it up immediatedly, but oh boy, that would be such fun for a week!

Thanks for the laugh 🤣 and I like your little cat friend too.

It would be fun Andy, but damn they deserve it, and a handy pocket sized lazer would be the perfect size, I will make sure to tell the wee cat to have it pocket sized!
The wee cat is a cutie, he lives just opposite the park, so I see him popping into the park, then popping over the wall and running across the street to his house when he has had enough.

Very close to my mother's house there is a KFC, apart from the chicken, I adored the biscuits, that little golden bread with a unique texture and flavor made me want more and more.
Regarding your invention, I only ask you to make it reach Latin America 🤣 dog poop because of irresponsible owners, abound.

In the UK, we don't get that, I imagine your KFC is very similar to the USA, ours was different so none of the biscuits!

Yes, I will come and hand deliver one, it will be a great excuse to visit Venezuela:)

I meant the bread that accompanied the chicken along with the fries and salad, well here it was like that and the golden bread, with a sweet touch disappeared.

Perfect, I will receive you with pleasure and you will imagine that is the first thing you are going to eat hahaha.

Haha of course no Haggis Arepa, although on second thought you can bring Haggis when you come to see how they go.
Haven't you been to try the arepas at the site in Kirkcaldy? Maybe if you give them the idea of an arepa with haggis, it's a hit!

Oh don’t start me on those poo bags in the hedges. A friend told me once that when the local council cut back some hedges, they revealed litter and countless little black bags. Disgusting. That’s why I’m launching the portable K9-pooper-vac-backpack. It’s the size of a regular backpack powered by a rechargeable battery, it has a vacuum, a hose, nozzle. Just wait for Rex (or Rexita) to do their business, turn it on and “zwee-blurb-vroom” -gone is the turd!

oh god the hedges, yep the hedges are full of those bloody poo bags! I can totally believe your friend!
I love the portable K9-pooper-vac-backpack perhaps it should be a compulsory purchase upon ownership of a dog!
Thanks for commenting and have a great weekend Nick:)

I love me a Zinger, but will concede the quality of the place has sharply declined. I don't eat much take away food but this much is clear. It could be said for so many products and establishments these days.

ouch so it has declined in Australia too, oh that is not so good at all!
Yes you are right that so many products and establishments have declined recently, I wonder if a recent decline in a product prompted the Products range of topics for the concept this weekend 🤔

Actually the theme was from Andy, we worked on the exact questions together. Well, the last was my idea...I had visions of all sorts of inappropriate answers. I still hope.

Yep, it's getting difficult to go to some of the places I used to go: Feed decline, service decline etc.

I've never stayed home more often in my life than I do now.

What a disappointment. I would never have expected from you. Nothing funny there ...

With regard to the dog poo remover, it would be a success and would have many interested parties. We have a small garden square and in the chat, we have on WhatsApp about the residential complex the subject of dog owners and the poo is always on the agenda. So would be a cool product indeed 😉😄

So the dog poo matter is worldwide! Don't these owners care, I guess they have thick skins. I remember there used to dog wardens here, that would fine people but that seems to have stopped. Yes I think there would be a worldwide market for it!

Yep, it is. In some things, people are the same everywhere. And one of those things is being inconsiderate of others and not giving them the will to pick up their dogs' poo.

KFC was once my favorite because of their chicken and mashed potato but it did change.

Once the owner was identified, the poo would be magically transported and dumped over the dog owners head.

Yikes! LOL!

You know CJ, in the UK we had chips (fries) so when I went to the US for the first time and saw mashed potatoes and gravy I was shocked. It seems that KFC has declined all round the world!

Hehe Yikes indeed, I don't what it is like in built-up areas over there CJ, but it is a bloody nuisance here!

(Edited)

Oh... We both had chips and mashed ones and we loved them then. It seems it did decline. But when we were in China, we noticed it was bustling. They had different things on their menu.

Dog poo and stray dogs are also a nuisance here. There is actually a local ordinance where when your dog is found going stray in the streets, you will be fined. Unfortunately, there are still those who don't really bother to look after their pets.

Ah if it was bustling in China, maybe that is why they took it over, yes the States had both, I had chips and gravy😄😄😄

Stay dogs, yes we used to have the seem here, but that was stopped.

Now I am craving for gravy haha.
Glad to know stray dogs are no longer an issue there, just the dog poop, lol!
