Hola amigos!! Me complace mucho participar en este CineTV Contest: The Best Of Horror. | CHALLENGE #03, que es uno de mis favoritos, en este caso de terror de los años 80. Invito a @chacald.dcymt A participar.
En el año 1980 tenía yo 18 años, y fue el estreno de la película "El resplandor", no pude verla en ese momento, porque me lo impidieron muchos factores, pero la logré ver más adelante.
Quiero dejar claro que esta película fue lo más aterrador que hubiese visto jamás, para ese entonces, desde el principio hasta el final.
El director, Stanley Kubrick, supo muy bien lo que hacía, escogiendo a Jack Nicholson, como actor principal, para representar a Jack Torrence, ya que este hace muy bien el papel de esquizofrénico y las expresiones de su rostro son verdaderamente perfectas para este papel.
La película se basa en la aceptación de Jack Torrence, de un trabajo como vigilante de invierno de un hotel en las montañas de Colorado, el cual queda aislado durante los 6 meses de invierno, por las altas nevadas, siendo advertido de que su antecesor perdió la razón por la ansiedad de la lejanía, el encierro, la falta de comunicación y otros factores más, y termino asesinando a su esposa y a sus dos hijitas, a hachazos y suicidándose él después.
Jack, Wendy su esposas y su pequeño hijito Danny de 5 años, se mudan al hotel.
Lo más impresionante para mí de esta película, fue el personaje de Danny, el hijo de Jack y Wendy, por sus facultad mental de ver cosas del pasado donde él no es partícipe y su capacidad de anticipar hechos del futuro, como la premonición horripilante que vio en el espejo de su casa en la ciudad antes de mudarse al hotel, era una cascada de sangre que salía de un ascensor. Esta visión lo dejó inconsciente.
Cuando le dice a su pediatra sobre Tony, un amigo que vive en su boca. Luego se ve él mismo en el hotel en su triciclo por un pasillo y un resplandor que sale de la habitación 236. La visión de las niñas asesinadas y personas en el hotel, que después sus padres también ven gente bailando y reunidos en el salón en una fiesta, pero es que ellos no saben, que el hotel está construido sobre un cementerio de nativos americanos.
Tras el encierro de Jack en una de las habitaciones para concentrarse en la escritura de su libro, empieza a tener alucinaciones, donde se ve matando a Wendy y a Danny, y unas voces lo insistan hacerlo. Mientras que Wendy se divierte jugando con Danny, sobre todo en un laberinto que hay afuera del hotel.
El cocinero que los espera para mostrarles el hotel, se comunica telepáticamente con Danny y le dice que el también tiene esa facultad al igual que su abuela, la cual ella llamaba "El resplandor".
Después, cuando Jack pierde por completo la razón, destruye el auto para nieve y la radio que son los únicos medios de transporte y comunicación que tienen.
Una de las escenas perturbadoras de la película, es cuando Wendy descubre, un montón de hojas escritas por Jack del supuesto libro, y que no son más que las mismas palabras, repetidas una y otra vez. Seguidamente es descubierta por Jack, quien la ataca.
Empieza la persecución de Jack para matar a Wendy, es cuando el cocinero llega en un carrito para nieve, ya que gracias a sus poderes telepáticos, sabe que algo muy malo está pasando en el hotel, pero Jack lo mata de una hachazo. Wendy corre desesperada por el hotel buscando a Danny mientras esté huye del papá, que lo descubre gracias al grito que le produjo, la visión que tuvo, del cocinero muerto. Es cuando se interna en el laberinto que se conoce muy bien, Jack en intento desesperado de matarlo, lo sigue, el niño logra salir y reunirse con su madre y huyen en el carrito en el que llegó el cocinero, mientras Jack queda atrapado en el laberinto y muere congelado.
Bueno amigos esto es todo, espero haya colmado sus expectativas, y les guste esta película que he tratado de contarles lo mejor posible.
