"Home Call" - (Acrylic Painting).
Good Day Fellas,
It's been a very stressful day for me but I decided to share one of my latest paintings here today. The painting above was an eye opener for me, It finally helped me to realize and accept that truly I am a colourist.
The painting preaches the motion of a mother and a child heading home after they had observed their daily activities. For me as the artist, I can perceive so much joy in the motion and gesture of the little boy in the painting, it's more like the boy is so happy to finally be heading home from school.

As usual, I did my drawing on the canvas with a charcoal pencil and I then blocked the human figures there with some burnt umber and burnt sienna. I also tried to work through the background with some burnt sienna also.
At this stage, I had finally blocked all the figures and also the car and the background.
At this stage, I was trying to portray the distance and then control the light and shade of the painting.
Here's the final stage where I had to put in a the details needed all the figures, the car, and some other objects visible in the painting.

Acrylic paintings demand much patience and caution... @tezzmax here though, has created something remarkable. That mysterious vibe of the canvas does for sure leave something on you...
