Market Scene - (Oil Colour Painting).
As it stands now, I shall be posting lots of paintings from now on. I've been taking my precious time to make sure I get to produce more paintings like I do with my sketches, even though it's not as easy as making my daily sketches, I've just got to be more that active as long as painting is concern.
The painting above was an assignment and that was the last time I attempted oil colour. I have observed and discovered that oil colour doesn't really work for/with my personality. I love fast work and oil doesn't dry on time, at the same time, oil gives this kind of smell and heat that easily makes me catch catarrh.
Another thing in this painting was that I ran quite fast with it and paid attention mostly to my focal point where I laid much emphasis and that's the right hand side of the painting where you can see about four different figures transacting. What do you think of the composition?
