Da Nang port- the beauty of boats and nature

avatar

Hi Hiver, how's everyone doing this week? I'm fine and I'm almost done with my exams for the semester and I'm in a good mood. So I invited my friend to take a walk in Da Nang and along the way there are many beautiful places. But I want to introduce a unique place for you to admire. It is Da Nang boat station, located near Thuan Phuoc bridge.

The gathering place of boats

Boats are gathered at this port. The boats will stay here for a while to wait for the day to set sail. Each sailing will take a few days, weeks or months depending on the boat owner's schedule. After bringing the spoils back, the boats will be anchored at this port. They are securely tied together to prevent them from being swept away by the current.

In the seasons of natural disasters, storms and floods, this port is a gathering place for boats. The boats will be tied together to prevent natural disasters from damaging the boats and its equipment.

The port has two sides. On the right side are boats that sail with low frequency. These boats are usually fixed at the mooring point. They will be fastened together and rarely move. On the other side are boats that often go out to sea to fish, so they will temporarily anchor on the poles and will leave the sea at any time.

In addition to fishing boats, there are many boats that do other tasks such as oil and gas exploration, cargo transportation, etc. If you notice the photos, the boats that exploit oil and gas or transport transporting goods of much larger size. And fishing boats that go out fishing for a few days at sea must also be large enough to withstand the waves and extreme weather.

Identification characteristics of Danang boats

These boats are boats of Da Nang people, so the boat will be symbolized as DN or Da Nang. Each boat will carry a Vietnamese flag so that when going out the sea, it is easy to recognize each other. I have noticed that these boats often paint with 2 main colors are blue with red. I think these two colors are identifying characteristics or colors for people to see each other easily at sea.

I intend to step on a boat to see the structure inside the boat but I can't because the boat is too far away. I continued to take a walk around to see the beauty here.

Awww...I miss that place very much. I used to pass it many times when I went to Son Tra peninsula. Keep up the good work.
