Lost Course, Found Future: Embracing the Unexpected Career Path.

The life of a student is actually fun, but sometimes it can be tiring. I have always dreamed of being a student, right from my college days, and graduating from college and seeking admission into a higher institution has been hell in a cell for me because I have gone through a lot of trying to get admission into the higher institution. I graduated from my college about 5 years ago before gaining admission to study a course that I never wanted to study in the first place, and that must have been because I had other plans to study a different course.

Not only that, but I got admitted to study animal science at a federal university in Nigeria, and before then I had processed serious institutions with which I ended up having one or more issues every time, and every year despite this, I kept buying forms and retaking examinations every year for the last five years of my time at home. Like I said, it was a hell for me because I felt I was not doing enough for myself, and then I was not ready to create whatever I was doing because I believed I could do it even without anyone assisting me to do so.

I was working with a veterinary doctor who was putting me through some processes on how to do some veterinary work, and he had advised me to go for a course related to what I was learning because I was never paying for what I was learning, and he was teaching me everything he knew about vet medicine, and I never knew he wanted me to really further my learning in this course because he believed in me that I could do better.

Sometimes he gets a contract to work as a consultant on a poultry farm that has about 10,000 poultry birds or even more. But I was never going to do anything until you told me to do so, but most of the time it would send me there to wait for him, and I never thought he was pushing me to do what I have been learning from him. I felt so bad the day I knew this was what he was doing, and ever since then I have had to pick myself up and face my challenges.

We then added a talk after some time, and he gave me reasons I should go for this course after I have tried a series of schools, and they have been void. Although I was not choosing courses related to animal science or vet medicine, when I noticed I had upper chances in this line, I had to fill out a form and sit for exams related to this course. Lo and behold, after my first trial, I wasn't admitted, but given the course related to it, I had to sit for the exam again, and after this, I got admitted with a merit list that was released in the school first.

I felt so happy and ran to him immediately to tell him that I had been admitted, and I thanked him so much for giving me this advice. I was happy I yielded to his advice even when I never had a plan to do it, but the way I was motivated made me go for it, and I realized it was what I was supposed to have done right from the start. Now I'm always becoming a graduate in the field of animal science, and I'm going to be graduating as an animal scientist, which I am proud of today.
