Going through my progress shots carefully, I used a basic sketch to produce the drawing, then I outlined it better and made some shadings on the work to produce depth.

Artists on Pinterest retain their copyright. If you need references for you drawings you should try public domain image sources such as wikipedia.

There are some microstock companies that use a creative commons license.

I've been using ai images when I need a reference.
