Seals generally are considered many to be cute and playful animals. Over time many seals may have become used to humans mainly because we tend to feed them. Who really turns down a free meal? It's best to remember that they are wild animals and can hurt you if you upset them. And since seals don't speak human you may never know what makes them mad. A kayaker in New Zealand really managed to piss off this particular seal somehow and pays the consequences.

I guess moral of the story is don't piss off seals when you go kayaking or you many get bitch-slapped with an octopus! Have a great day weekend everyone!

I have always said when we did amphib work that when you get in the ocean you are just another part of the food chain. In this case, he was just another play thing.

The funny thing about the video is how happy the kayaker is to get slapped with an octopus. Some humans are just stupid.
