Metal Weekend Continues with AC/DC

Today I want to continue on with the metal weekend theme that @trumpman started some time back. He just had another addition to the family yesterday so make sure to congratulate him and @ruth-girl! I thought I would share some classic AC/DC. They are of course one of the most iconic metal bands and have been around for a very long time.

They started to have success and following with lead singer Bon Scott. He was a great vocalist and showman. Sadly he passed away after a night of heavy drinking in London of acute alcohol poisoning with pulmonary aspiration in 1980. Brian Johnson then replaced Scott for their huge Back in Black album. Over the years there's always been the debate over who was better. Personally I think Bon Scott has the edge, but Brian Johnson's vocals over the years have been legendary as well.

Tough call, I listened to both over the years!🤔
They got lucky and found a lead vocal, that carried them up the charts!😊
I probably annoyed the neighbors many times with “Highway to Hell” cranked up!😇

Great song, but definitely a tough call, Brain Johnson really shot them to the top! I bet the neighbors loved that loud rock and roll music!

Its a tough one, but I have to go with Brian Johnson. This was one HELL of a way to start my morning at 3am. Brings back some great memories though as a rebellious kid with a mullet and not having a care in the world.

The good old days... Great call though! I grew up in the seventies and eighties, their first singer I really knew was Brian Johnson, but Scott had incredible vocals too, just not as rough as Johnson. You were up early!

Sorry to hear that because it sucks. VA doc gave me a new sleep med I am going to try tonight again. I tried it the other night and it really worked...too good. I kept wanting to sleep through the next day :-) If it happens again, I may have to cut the dose in half or something.

Never good to be knocked for a loop by sleeping meds. You don't want to spend the day hung over!
